Bought this to replace my 40D over a year ago. I take weddings and landscapes. The pictures are sharp and clear. Don't have any of the problems noted in other reviews. Careful review of the manual before using eliminates all those problems. I have owned several canons over the years and this one is the best so far.
Purchased within a month ago and the camera is good. Image quality isn't as sharp as I would expect and the LCD Screen is almost unveiwable during a sunny day. That's just totally outdated technology as our phone's display is very easy to see during the day. I do hope that Canon addresses the LCD SCEEN as I find this unacceptable in today's technological world and not with a new camera, but software upgrades / updates for the cameras on the market already. What say you Canon?
The camera is all what an ameteur (and even some profesionals) photographer needs! Great lens!!!
I own, and love, my 5D Mark III. But I undertook a new activity, which involved taking photos through a spotting scope. That meant I could NOT use a full-frame sensor (full-frame would result in vignetting). I thought that the T6s (with its 1.6 FOV crop) would be a perfect solution, but I was greatly disappointed. Despite the 24+ megapixels the sensor claims, the images were definitely not sharp enough -- whether digiscoped OR simply taken by regular shooting. I was forced to spend lots of time in photoshop, sharpening the images using software. This was not a happy situation. My solution was to replace the T6s with the 7D Mark II camera, which also has 1.6 FOV crop. Wow, what a difference. The images are astoundingly sharp, and comparable to my 5D Mark III. I am very pleased with the 7D Mark II. I would categorize the T6s as an easy-to-carry camera for the casual user. If you are fussy about sharpness, look elsewhere.
this camera is great but why there isn't the option to record 60fp cheap cameras from other brand have this feature.
