Locks in place well. Looks nice. Holds heavy curtain. Only have it for 1 week, so I don't know yet how well it withstands the heat and moisture.
Other sites are selling room dividers for apartments for $200. This is way out of line. I came to Wal-Mart. I order long drape panels set of 2 and this tension pole all for $40 at the most. Wow what a saving! This tension pole is a beautiful shiny chrome. The tension pole is nice and thick around 2 inches. It had no problem holding 2 black out drapes. The decorative ends are very pretty. My only wish is that they would sell in a bigger size , I needed another one for a very large window but they do not sell this tension rod in that size. Great purchase !
