Canopy Memory Foam Topper Twin

I wasn't expecting much from this topper, but the difference is noticeable. I can no longer feel the springs poking me from an old mattress in Iraq. However, it does make it harder to get up in the morning... I bought both the topper and the memory foam pillow and it was the best present I could have given myself in Iraq.

We bought this product to use in our RV, which came with a very, very firm foam mattress. This mattress pad works perfectly by giving some resilience to the sleeping surface. The only small complaint I have is the size, which is a couple inches short of actual queen size in both width and length. But it is not a big problem. Also, I wondered if the 1-1/2 inch thickness would be adequate, and surprisingly it is. I have read other reviews complaining about odor, so we left it spread out for a couple days before using it and there was no problem. I definitely recommend it for our application.

I bought this because my mattress vas very hard. It's pretty good and does make things a bit more comfortable. It's about two inches too short all the way around. The chemical smell goes away after a couple of days. If someone has sensitive skin I would air it out for a day or two before I actually used it. Also after a while it needs to be fluffed or it gets kinda lumpy. I would suggest it to someone, but if you can afford it the 4" would probably work better than this one. Also it needs a mattress cover to hold it in place.

We would recommend this because it is comfortable without the marshmallow feeling that the memory foam usually feels like. I like a firm mattress so we bought a new one and placed this on top and then covered it with a mattress cover that has a thick plastic lining so our sweat does not go through. Now I have a soft, comfortable feeling with the support that I have never felt laying on a pillow top mattress. It has been the most comfortable nights sleep that I have had in a long time.

I just knew that this was going to be a wonderful thing to help me get a good nights sleep, but it wasn't the case. I gave it two weeks, then it was off the bed. It felt great sitting on the bed, but sleeping on it was a different story. I just couldn't get comfortable. I would wake up in the morning feeling like I hadn't slept in a week. Some people love it and some people hate it and I am the latter.
