Cara King Size Moist/Dry LCD Heating Pad, Blue

The box indicates king size, but no measurement. Arrived, and was very disappointed to find the size not as what I thought. The description KING should not be advertised. Very misleading. 12x24 is NOT King size. No where in the box has the measurement on it, I've read one review which noted the size, and this is not it. Makes me wonder if it's the right review for the item. Now, I need to go find some other heating pad suitable that's large...and this is no where close. Didn't even bother to test if it works.

Depending on your tolerance for heat, this pad heats perfectly for me if you're one to tolerate 130 degree heat from this type of device. That factor alone and the moist heat feature were what I was looking for to ease the recurring back pain I deal with. There are some other well known brand heating pads whose high settings are just warm and not able to produce extra warm heat as this pad does. "Two thumbs up" for this one! Now I can go about doing the strenuous things I put off due to the back aches. Overall, this offers excellent value for performance and features!

I can't answer any of these questions as someone took the electrical controller out of the box and it's unusable. I was promised to be sent another heating pad the very next day, but yet to receive it. I'll be happy to let you know how that one works. Thank you!

Though it is not what I hoped it does get hot fast. The control lcd display is large, but not lit. The control buttons are simple, temperature and timer. Good product but cover is thin, very thin. Heating pad is also very thin. I will keep, make a better cover myself . There is an auto shut off, which is good even though some do not like that feature. With it getting this hot I think if you fell asleep with this on for hours you could be injured. I saw a burn on a person who used an old style heating pad with no auto off, the burn was severe. The inconvenience of auto shut off is better then a burn, which could lead to infection. I did find one heating pad that does not have auto shut off, Boncare Large Electric Heating Pad12" x 15" One Heat Setting NO Auto Shut Off . My guess is it will have a lower heating temp, for safety. Also a fire hazard to use these all night. There are non electric heat wraps, often a type of grain filler, that are heated in a microwave for a minute or so depending on your microwave and the wrap. This heat pad with 1hour timer , setting allows 90 to 15 min, is ok and especially unique in that it gets hotter then any other I tried. Be safe.

Only worked for occasional use for about six months. Now it starts to heat up when turned on and then gets a "EE" error and turns off. This product will be going in the garbage. I had my Sunbeam heating pad for over ten years and still have it but it only heats on low but at least it still works. Going to replace this product with another quality sunbeam product.
