These tires are labeled 7x16, but measure 5" wide not 7". The manufacture claims they will inflate to the proper size. The old tires I am replacing are 7x16 also, but measure 7" wide uninflated. So, what you are seeing is the tire manufactures are cutting corners like everywhere else, selling smaller tires, but claiming otherwise.

Excellently USA manufactured 6 ply rating tire. Taller lugs than other agricultural tires viewed. Improved the ease of steering on my tractor. Improved traction. Tires are better able to support loader loads than the original manufacturer's tires.
