Cascade Lemon Scent Powder Dishwasher Detergent, 120 oz

I have been buying this product since Walmart discontinued their powder detergent!! I see no reason to buy the very expensive liquid or tabs when this product works so well, I just empty the box into my Kirkland dishwasher detergent pail from long ago and use it from there without spillage. No problems at all!

Good for the price

I have used Cascade for years with no problems. Last night I used the Lemon scentwith Dawn. When the wash was complete and I pulled the dishes out there was a white coating all over my dishes, cups, and silverware. This coating cannot be removed no matter what I try. Now I have no dishes to eat off of, no cups to drink out of, and no silverware to eat with. I am on a limited income and cannot afford to go out and buy new dishes, cups, and silverware. I am extremely disappointed and upset about this product,

I have been a faithful Cascade Complete user since it came out. My grocery store was recently out so I bought Cascade with Dawn, Lemon Scent. By far the worst dishwasher detegent I have EVER used! I have run the dishwasher 3 times, handwashed the dishes and run vinegar through my dishwasher. I cannot get rid of the filmy, soapy tasting residue! I picked up some Cascade complete and just started the dishes again. I think the Dawn one may have ruined my Tervis plastic tumblers. They are etched and foggy. What a nightmare! I cannot get rid of the film. I will remain a user of Cascade Complete unless they change the formula. Hopefully, that will NOT happen.

The box says 'rinses away residue, leaves dishes sparkiling' - not true. The residue is particularly bad on stainless and plastic. I am a long-time Cascade buyer - this is the first and last time I will buy the one with Dawn, lemon scent. I hope the other Cascade varieties don't leave the same residue.
