I like everything about the CATIGA CD-2786 Metal Desktop Calculator 12 Digit w/ Extra Large Display Standard Function. It is simple and does everything I need it to do. The buttoms are large and work well with arthritic, elderly hands. I don't make mistakes as I did on other calculators with smaller buttons. It is the first time I have owned a Catiga. I was unfamiliar with this brand but decided to give it a go. I'm very happy I did. Nothing negative to say about this calculator.

This calculator is a great size for people with poor vision or large fingers. The buttons are easy to press, with very little resistance. The screen is clear and the buttons are easy to read. This calculator performs all basic functions and is easy to use.

This desktop calculator is also easy to hold in the palm of your hand while pressing keys. It is a great item to have if your laptop doesn't have a built-in numerical keypad. Its size leaves space for other items on the desktop and you could also slip it into a laptop carrying case. The keys are as easy to use as those on a full-sized keyboard and the large LCD characters are super easy to read. Don't know yet how long the button battery will perform its job, but the solar cell's help may extend the life of the battery. The case has to be opened to change the battery, but it's not too hard, just 2 tiny screws to remove before prying the case open. An external battery access slot would have gotten this device a 5-star review.

I finally checked my mailbox! Here it is! (Pics below) This is a handy calculator. Much easier to use that the computer one, simple and easy to read with large keys. This calcultor is about 5.5" x 4". So it's not tiny, but it also does not take up a lot of space. It will fit in a drawer that is at least 1" high. Having large keys is essential for those of us who are older or for people who have large hands. The size of the keys are larely what makes it highly functional. It has another quality that is attractive: solar capacity! Yes, it will work on a round, 1.5 volt battery or via light energy. Having a floresecent bulb in your desk lamp will encourage the solar function, although I would keep a working battery in it for backup. Pros: large keys and large, easy to read display, simple -- no miltiple function keys. Each key is responsible for one function. Turns itself off after a few minutes of non-use. Cons: Keys do not light up in the dark.

I received this Desktop Calculator 12 Digit with Large LCD Display and Sensitive Button, Solar and Battery Dual Power, Standard Function for Office, Home, School, CD-2786 (Black) to review. In using it I find that it is so easy to use. Also the keys and display are very large for such a small calculator which makes it even more easy to use. I am 73 years old with not the best eyesight and it is so easy for me to see the keys and display. The keys are brightly colored. It has basic keys for most simple math. Plus it has a percent key, and a square root key. It has memory plus, memory minus, memory recall and memory clear. Plus it also has a gross total key function. My wife loves it as well. She does all the bank statements and etc. The calculator she has been using was on it's last leg plus it was hard to hit the right key sometime being that the keys were so small and close together. This one is not much larger either than the old one. I do highly recommend this calculator to anyone that's in the market for a simple but effective one. I hope this review helps someone with purchase decision.
