Also It Is Solar And Battery Powered . You Can Use It Anywhere In Your Home, For School, In A Office . It Sets At A 45 Degree Angle Which Is A Added Plus .

I have a small home-based business and I also keep track of my personal finances. A calculator is a necessity. This Catiga CD-2786-12 Desktop Calculator is excellent. I am in my early 60s, so I greatly appreciate the large buttons and the large display. And because it it both Solar and Battery powered, I never have to worry about it running out of power. Unlike my older hand-held calculator, this Desktop Calculator sits on the desk and I do NOT have to pick it up to press the buttons or to see the display. This makes this item much more convenient when doing calculations. [See photo] This is a very simple and basic calculator that looks sharp, works well, and is perfect for my needs. I recommend this product.

This calculator is a decent, basic desktop calculator. While I wouldn't recommend this one to a friend, I also wouldn't recommend against it. I'm pretty neutral about it. Pros: It's dual powered--solar and battery Auto-off function It's reasonably attractive It has a double zero key (00) The color coded buttons make it easy to find what you need It's very lightweight Cons: Can't turn it off (annoying when using the battery) Errors out with large numbers (instead of using an exponent of ten)--see picture Changing the battery requires a screwdriver No parentheses button(s)--complex calculations require using the memory keys

I finally checked my mailbox! Here it is! (Pics below) This is a handy calculator. Much easier to use that the computer one, simple and easy to read with large keys. This calcultor is about 5.5" x 4". So it's not tiny, but it also does not take up a lot of space. It will fit in a drawer that is at least 1" high. Having large keys is essential for those of us who are older or for people who have large hands. The size of the keys are larely what makes it highly functional. It has another quality that is attractive: solar capacity! Yes, it will work on a round, 1.5 volt battery or via light energy. Having a floresecent bulb in your desk lamp will encourage the solar function, although I would keep a working battery in it for backup. Pros: large keys and large, easy to read display, simple -- no miltiple function keys. Each key is responsible for one function. Turns itself off after a few minutes of non-use. Cons: Keys do not light up in the dark.

I received this Desktop Calculator 12 Digit with Large LCD Display and Sensitive Button, Solar and Battery Dual Power, Standard Function for Office, Home, School, CD-2786 (Black) to review. In using it I find that it is so easy to use. Also the keys and display are very large for such a small calculator which makes it even more easy to use. I am 73 years old with not the best eyesight and it is so easy for me to see the keys and display. The keys are brightly colored. It has basic keys for most simple math. Plus it has a percent key, and a square root key. It has memory plus, memory minus, memory recall and memory clear. Plus it also has a gross total key function. My wife loves it as well. She does all the bank statements and etc. The calculator she has been using was on it's last leg plus it was hard to hit the right key sometime being that the keys were so small and close together. This one is not much larger either than the old one. I do highly recommend this calculator to anyone that's in the market for a simple but effective one. I hope this review helps someone with purchase decision.
