this compares easily with the brand I have been using, Dr' Elsey's, unscented Ultra Precious Cat. The Cat's Pride Fresh & Light is every bit as good as Dr. Elsey's, it's a smidgen cheaper and it's easier to buy online for pickup, and it comes in large plastic containers. very handy, easier to move. 5 stars for Cat's Pride Fresh *Light

I was sceptical at first, but it is so wonderful not to have to carry 28lbs. from the car to my house. It works great and lasts just as long, if not longer, than the extremely heavy version. Thanks to whoever thought of this.

I have switched over to this after using Tidy Cats clumping litter the last several years as my main litter source. I realized over time that I was not 100% happy with the Tidy Cats. It was okay, I just really wanted to find something that was - A) Completely unscented, and B) As close to dust-free as possible. The jury is still out on the latter, since I have not used the Cat's Pride very long yet, but so far I feel like (finger's crossed) it might be less dusty. However, I do also have a small animal cage with aspen shavings in the same room as the litter box, and I know the shavings also contribute to the overall dust being put out, so it is (unfortunately) hard for me to tell how much impact the litter alone is having. That aside, I do also really like the fact that this litter is lightweight - I hadn't been sure how either I or my cat would feel about that, but it's a nice change! The litter is easier to lug around if I run into the store and don't get a cart, and it is also easy to vacuum up any litter that gets tracked outside the litter box. All in all, I am pretty happy with this brand at the moment, but time will tell more!

I got this Cat's Pride Fresh & Light Premium Clumping Fragrance-Free Scoopable Cat Litter, 15 lb to try for a few reasons. First of all, I have a bad back and cannot lift more than twenty pounds, so I liked the idea that I would be getting more litter volume wise with less weight, and a weight that I can handle by myself. I found that it is more lightweight than other litters of the same volume, but I did not find it as lightweight as the television commercials infer - of course! The second reason is that I have a couple of very finicky cats - 2 of my 5 cats. One doesn't like to stand in the litter, so it is comical to watch him going to the bathroom hovering over the box, and then he doesn't want to touch the litter, so I have to go behind him to cover it and let the litter absorb the stools and odor. It did not disappoint. I usually have to wait an hour before I scoop so it doesn't make a mess, but I was able to scoop almost immediately. It also took care of the odor almost immediately. The other one does not like any scents in the litter and if there is, he will go next to the litter box. It has not been a problem since I started using this Cat's Pride Fresh & Light Premium Clumping Fragrance-Free Scoopable Cat Litter. I also find that even with 5 cats, scooping out the box once daily keeps odors in check. I will be using this in the future and would recommend it to others.
