No more worries about my tablet sliding out of my customers' hands. It provides a no-slip grip to the bottom of my expensive tablet. It's not bulky so even sitting my tablet on the table it still sits flush with the table. it even stayed put on the dashboard in the car while we were driving and wasn't sliding around on the dashboard. Will be getting more for all our work and personal essentials for work! We now rely on this daily!
Well it sure does keep our devices from moving around. I like it so much. It's peel and stick right on the area you want to place it on. I went with my tablet. And put it in the back of the case. It's more impressive then I expected. It does exactly as it should and had a nice look to it. I'm satisfied.
I put this grip onto the back of my IPad generation 3. It easily went on and is stuck on super tight. It has a rubbery, textured feel to it and it does make it easier to hang onto. I got the gray color and Am pleased that it performs as it says it will.
The Phat Cat "Cat Tongue" Tablet Grip pad is just a little bit too wide for my Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet, and just long enough that the rear-facing camera lens well be covered so it will need to be trimmed on one side and a hole punched into it, or trimmed on both sides. I don't see any specific tablets or laptops listed anywhere that it will fit, just a general statement of "For Your Tablets, Laptops, and More!" The only instructions are: "Easy To Apply: Just peel, Stick, and Grip!" When I ordered it, it said it would fit a "tablet." The model name appears to be "Phat Cat." On my Tab A I have a folding case with a Bluetooth keyboard but with the Tablet Grip attached it will no longer easily fit into the case, and of course it would be pointless to have it on the tablet anyway. If the Tablet Grip was attached to the bottom/back of my tablet case then it would no longer be possible to open the flip-open stand an set it up on a table or whatever. So, it's either the case or the Tablet Grip. Having a tablet that does not slide around seems like a good idea, however I'm having difficulties imagining when that might be a problem. If on an airliner, the tray table is required to be closed on take-offs and landings plus I always have the flip-open stand in the open position so it will stand up. Perhaps it is intended to be placed upon the dashboard of a car but that's not something I'm likely to do. The Tablet Grip seems to suggest that it will fit a small laptop and that makes much more sense because the screen opens upward on a laptop and the bottom is always the bottom, but it seems to be too small to fit on my smaller 8” X 12” laptop and it already has four rubber feet and they would prevent it from making contact with whatever surface it was placed upon. A friend of mine has a small notebook computer that I thought this might be appropriate for, but it folds into a stand at the bottom so it won't work on that either. My suggestion is to carefully consider all of the limitations before purchasing one of these. The Tablet Grip does seem to do a very good job of not sliding on smooth surfaces.
This Phat cat grip pad works well. The adhesive sticks well but doesn't seem to be permanent. I've been able to pull up a corner a couple of days after applying it so I think it won't bond forever. I have a Samsung tablet that is very slippery and this does a good job of keeping it from skidding off the table or dash. It's not much help with holding by hand although it's something of an improvement. It really does a great job of gripping the table top. If I put the tablet down and plug it in the cord no longer makes the tablet move around. I like it for that. The texture is nifty and while nothing like a cat tongue, I get the simile.
