Channel Master Antenna is the best! I looked every where for the best price. I mean EVERYWHERE! But again Wal Mart's price cannot be beat. I had to get out from under Dish Network's same old reruns for $60 a month.

I installed this product in my attic; I the antenna itself was of good quality, and it delivered a crisp picture to my HD tv. My biggest gripe is the intallation manual- it did not tell me what exactly was in the kit. For example, there was no mount for an attic installation (had to order that one separately). Also no mast was included (almost always needed-had to purchase at Lowe's), and should have been noted in the manual also. Also they should include a diagram about how to aim the antenna in the direction of the broadcasting stations.

While an antenna requires some coax wiring and a place to mount, it can be relatively easy and worth the effort. We are 50+ miles from the transmitter and we get all major broadcast channels in HD. For the price of one month's worth of satellite service. Really excellent picture quality. The manual is pretty good but they don't clearly show the proper orientation. They say to "point" the antenna to the transmitter. But, they don't say that the pointy end is NOT when it looks like an arrow. Point the long end with all of the strips. Antennaweb.com shows you the direction for the nearest transmitters. Also, it is a good idea to have help assembling and especially mounting the antenna. And remember to ground it.
