Char-Broil Vertical Charcoal Smoker

my cousin told me about this smoker and said he uses it for BBQ, and to smoke turkeys for the holidays. After trying his BBQ I was sold. We purchased the smoker before Thanksgiving to see if it taste as good as my cousins. Our children always complained about our turkey and how they hated it, but this year my 8 year old son said I LOVE TURKEY NOW.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY STEPSON. HE HAD A ROUND SMOKER WHEN HE LIVED WITH US, BUT IT HAD RUSTED TO DEATH. I NEVER HAD A SMOKER, BUT I KNOW ABOUT CONSTRUCTION, & VALUE. THAT BROUGHT ME TO THIS CHAR-BROIL CHARCOAL SMOKER. I SEEN 1 LIKE IT, BUT IT DIDN'T LOOK AS WELL CONSTRUCTED AS THIS. THE STEPSON WAS A HAPPY CAMPER, & SAID IT WAS THE ONE HE HAD BEEN LOOKING AT EARLIER IN THE SEASON. IT IS WELL MADE, WORKS AS EXPECTED, & THE PRICE WAS A VALUE FOR THE QUALITY. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT IS GONNA LAST ALONG TIME, THIS IS THE UNIT TO GET.

Ordering online was fairly easy. Smoker arrived earlier than expected which was really nice. The CharBroil smoker/grill was very easy to assemble. We have used it several times and the meat has been wonderfully tasty.

I would not buy this smoker again. The smoker got very hot during the break in process. When I put some slabs of ribs and the water in the temp dropped and never recovered. I tried to adjust the vents in every way. After about 8 hours, I had to move some inside to the oven and 1 slab in my Weber grill.

Great smoker for the price. We have used it a couple times still trying to get it all figured out. I would recommend it.
