Chemical Guys Bug & Tar Heavy Duty Car Wash Shampoo (1 Gallon)

I had very small drop of sap on the hood of my beautiful car that no one wanted to attempt to remove. After some research and a few YouTube reviews, I purchased this magical liquid. Poof. Just like that. tar is gone! Follow the directions! It's strong

I used this product as a pre wash for the grill and bumper areas. I mixed it in a pump sprayer and saturated grill and bumper areas and let sit for several minutes before washing these areas. It's worked but I've used better products in the past. I will continue testing and mixing different strengths to try and find a "sweet spot"

The county repaved the road heading to our neighborhood, so driving in and out spattered the bottom edges of the car with tar. Nasty looking on our white cars. Bought some of this to try. Wow, does it work. In the foamer, it took some of the spots off as the foam ran off. Then a swipe with the crazy curly mitt, and that was it. Maybe two spots anywhere remaining where we had to do any focused rubbing to get the tar off. My only concern... is it also stripping the wax? Welp, that's what the ceramic coating and ceramic car wash are for, right?

After doing some highway driving I arrived at my destination and realized that the entire front end of my car was covered in big guts I immediately searched CG to find a product that was strong enough to remove all the bug splatter. I decided to spray it full strength onto the vehicle I let it sit for about 1-2 minutes not allowing it to dry then using a CG microfiber wheel applicator to gently loosen up the bug splatter which came right off. Hose it the entire area down and was hood as new. I highly recommend this product.

As a younger person, I spent much time scrubbing to remove bugs with special sponges and scrubbers without ruining the finish. With Big and Tar remover bugs and tar come off quickly and easily with a microfiber rag - and it hasn't harmed paint, chrome, plastic trim, or headlights. We always keep plenty on hand.
