Just in time for fall cooking in a yummy color. Shipping/Packaging: The dish came in a medium-sized brown box with some thick bubble wrap placed in the bottom and sides of the box. The dish itself was not wrapped and did not come in its own box or packaging. A sheet of bubble wrap was simply placed over the top. See photo. This is a bit of a precarious way of packing but the dish was not chipped or otherwise damaged. Look/Feel: The dish is a rich pumpkin color with a shiny glaze, a bit heavier than I would like but that is to be expected from stoneware. The edge is a bit uneven and so is the pumpkin color and glaze, which gives the dish a very craftsy look, like something handmade you might buy at a craft fair. The paper attached to the dish came off easily (see video) but it also had two smaller stickers than needed a bit of fingernail scraping and soapy water but in the end did not leave any residue. That's nice, I already have too many dishes with sticky paper left on the bottom that just won't come off. Use: The dish is heat resistant to 500 degrees F, so that makes it useful for many types of dishes, but the depth of only 2 inches limits what you can put in it. For example, a very bubbly mac and cheese would not work. And since it has no lid, it cannot be used for reheating something. The dish actually screams “Quiche” or something similar, like a pie maybe. Or some nachos. I used it to make a batch of large yeast sandwich rolls. I bake about twice a week and it's usually some sort of bread. Because of the uneven edge, my usual round plastic cover for the second rise did not fit, neither did my other rectangular one so I used a towel instead. The rolls rose very nicely in the dish. They require a high temperature at first so I was able to see how well the baking dish held up to high temperatures of about 450. Everything went fine, I had used a bit of cooking spray and the rolls popped out ok in general but stuck to the dish a bit on one side. Cleanup: Easy enough, but the stuck on parts required a bit of soaking and scrubbing. I like the artisan look and the rich color. I am not fond of handling heavy stoneware and prefer glass in general. Cleanup took some soaking and scrubbing but was minimal with my yeast roll. This may be different with baked on cheese and I am not sure I make enough food that requires a shallow dish with no lid. After the rolls, I thought monkey bread would probably work great. But it looks great as a centerpiece and just sitting on my stove, maybe I'll use it to keep salt and pepper shakers or some spices organized and handy. How often I will actually reach for it over my other baking dishes? Only time will tell. I'll update my review in a few weeks. Conclusion: If you like fall colors, like to make quiche or similar dishes, do not mind that stoneware is a bit heavy, and want something that looks great and not cheap, this is the dish for you. If you want a more multipurpose dish with a lid that's a bit deeper and maybe a bit bigger for a larger family and have dishes already that are not fall-themed, then the 1.5 q Rachel Ray pumpkin colored baking dish is probably not a good fit.

This is another addition to our Cucina collection from Rachael Ray, the color is exceptional and very durable it is dishwasher safe and I have had no problems yet with chipping or cracking as it has held up for several washes, I have also cooked a few small casseroles in the dish and everything I have tried turned out great. The biscuits I baked didn't stick and like all the other cookware we have used, they are wonderful for non stick. I have never used nor experienced the quality of this cookware, I give all of the Rachel Ray Cookware 5 stars.

I ordered a matching set of Rachel Ray dinnerware and bakeware. The 1.5 quart stoneware baker is the perfect size for side dishes or cooking a main dish for two people. It compliments the dinnerware set when brought to the table. The color pumpkin is warm, rustic and inviting. I was a little leary ordering this color but was pleasantly surprised when I received it. The quality of the product is good. The thick Stoneware ensures even baking. Clean up was easy with it's glazed finish. The two handles make it easy to take it in and out of the oven So far I have made my Broccoli Bacon Swiss casserole and a Greenbean casserole with excellent results. Since there is only two in the household it is the perfect size. I already received compliments not just the food but how well my dinnerware and bakeware looks. It's definitely an added plus to anyone's kitchen. Being considered the family chef, a chef uses good cookware. I more than welcome this stoneware to my kitchen. I see many years of continual use of this product. Overall I am very happy with the Rachel Ray line up. I was leary at first but I'm now sold on the products. I won't hesitate to purchase anymore products in this line up. .

Hi folks, This Rachael Ray open top baking pan follow the fine tradition of all the Rachael Ray items I've used. This 1.5-qt Round Stoneware Baker is perfect for making my favorite deep-dish homemade pizza. The ceramic evenly distributes the heat while cooking, and when I cook my pizzas, they come out perfect. The crusts don't get overdone before the cheese & pizza toppings are cooked to perfection. When I use the aluminum pizza style pans, my crusts normally end up being overcooked before the toppings on the pizza get browned to my liking - I like the cheese & pepperoni slightly "burned" instead of just heated/melted like pizzas cooked in a microwave oven. I've also baked corn bread and cooked macaroni and cheese in this stoneware baker and they also came out great. I would recommend this item to anyone who is serious about cooking and likes using a quality product. The ceramic construction makes for easy clean-up and it also looks nice on the dinner table when serving your home cooked meals. I do not use something like this every day but I do use it quite often. The home made deep dish pizza is the best thing I've cooked in this pan so far, and I'm going to use it for other dishes in the future. High quality & low maintenance, I like it!

This is my first Rachel Ray piece of cookware and I love it. It was great to use for baking and cooking a side dish. I look forward to using it again. I would love to add more of her collection to my kitchen. The color is an awesome harvest orange which is perfect because my favorite color is orange. I recommend this to everyone.
