Chicco Caddy Hook-On Chair - Red - OLD (Red)

It opens 4 inches with the ability to go over a 6 inch lip. It is super easy to install on tables, counter tops, etc. It seems comfortable and I love that the seat material can come off and is machine washable. I love this chair! My son loves this chair! Best investment I have made in a long time. Works wonderfully in my little house without taking up any extra space.

Excellent product. However, in trying to simplify the manual illustrations the picture showing how to collapse the seat for folding shows the persons thumb on the wrong button. Even though the written description is accurate and there is a circle around the correct "button", it is easy to misinterpret and struggle with trying to force it to close, possibly damaging the unit. They need to find a better word for the "button" that allows rotation of the arms (the one in the slot) versus the button that allows shortening of the arms. The illustration should be redone so that it does not show the persons thumb on the other button. Perhaps painting the two buttons different colors would help. This would be particularly helpful for old folks like us grandparents who have trouble with confusing instruction manuals

We have only used traditional high chairs up to this point, so I was a little nervous trying out this hook-on chair because I wasn't sure that something so small and compact could really hold my toddler (2 years old and 30 lbs). I was blown away at how sturdy it is! My daughter thought it was SO cool! I love that it folds flat and that the fabric is washable. It's perfect for taking on-the-go to restaurants so you can avoid putting your kid in yucky communal high chairs. We live in a small apartment at the moment and I highly recommend this as a space-saver. A word of caution before buying though...it doesn't work on tables that have a leaf that are hidden underneath the table. Or at least it didn't on mine. However, it worked great when the table was extended and the leaf was no longer hidden underneath. Sturdy, durable, and convenient! Great product! (Chicco provided this product to me in exchange for my honest opinion.)

I bought this seat to use as our high chair in our apartment. Its a great space saver but difficult to clean. I spot cleaned the fabric with soap and water and now there is a permanent smell. I wish the seat cover couls come off to throw in the laundry.

This seat is literally falling apart. It has holes all over the seems after only a few month's use and is just terrible. It's also super inconvenient for cleaning. The material it's made of cannot be wiped down, it has to be washed in the washing machine and then hung dry.
