Chicco Duo Deluxe Hybrid Baby Bottle Gift Set with Invinci-Glass Inside/Plastic Outside - Neutral, New

Thank to the Stellar Panel Product Testing Panel I was able to try this bottle set. The bottle gift set came with a great variety of bottles sizes, pacifiers and nipples. I like the hybrid design of the plastic and glass. It is not as fragile as glass , but has the durability of it. Because of the material I do not have to worry about my little one dropping and breaking the bottle. The bottles are easy to assemble and clean. I use my standard bottle cleaner brush and it cleans the bottles well. The simple design of the bottles don't allow for any difficult places to wash. My baby does not use a pacifier frequently, but in instances where I did give her a pacifier she took it very easily.

I received the bottle set as part of a Stellar Product testing panel and I really wanted to like them but I feel they fell short. I did enjoy the combination of glass-plastic hybrid design, the shape of the bottle, and the easiness of assembling/cleaning the bottle but I did not enjoy using the bottle due to the flow of the nipple. The size one nipple caused the milk to not come out fast enough and the size two caused it to come out way too fast, causing a big mess. My little one also struggled with the pacifier and was unable to keep it in his mouth.

The Chicco Duo Deluxe Hybrid bottle gift set is definitely our new family favorite! I absolutely love the hybrid glass-plastic technology. The inside of the bottle is a full layer of 100% glass so I always feel confident that my twins milk is safe. That being said, full glass bottles would never survive in my house so the most practical feature of the bottles is the plastic outer layer. This ensures the bottles are durable and safe from breakage. I was a little worried that the bottles would be heavy, but the glass is a micro-thin layer that adds no additional weight. They are easy to assemble and simple to take apart to clean and sterilize. The twins both approve!!! We do not use pacifiers anymore but I want to mention that this set includes two pacifiers and a sterilizing case as a great bonus. I was very excited to receive this bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Chicco Duo Deluxe Hybrid Baby Bottle Gift Set came with six total bottles (three 5-oz bottles and three 9-oz bottles), six size 1/slow flow nipples, two size 2/medium flow nipples, 6 bottle caps, and 2 pacifiers - this is a great quantity for any parent starting their bottle feeding journey. I am a second time parent that used 100% plastic bottles with my first baby. I would have loved to use glass but heavy glass bottles aren't practical for our busy lifestyle. I really love the glass-plastic hybrid design of these bottles because you get the health and safety benefits of glass but the practicality of a plastic bottle that is more durable. The bottles were very easy to put together. The shape and feel of the bottle is comfortable to hold. I put them through the dishwasher many times and did not see any discoloration and the measurement marks are still perfectly readable. The caps snap on and actually stay put so you don't have to worry about spills when you throw them in the diaper bag. We had been using the same pacifier brand we used with our first baby but our daughter loves these Chicco pacifiers so much more. Unfortunately these bottles didn't work for us. When our 2-month-old daughter would drink from these bottles they didn't vent so the nipple would collapse and reduce or stop flow. To fix this we had to pull the nipple completely out of her mouth, which would then allow air through the end of the nipple and pass bubbles through the formula. We tried both size nipples but that didn't solve for the reduced flow. We had several different people assembly the bottles trying to get them to vent with no luck.

We absolutely love these bottles! When I first read they were glass inner with plastic outer, I assumed these would be just as heavy as traditional glass bottles, but they're so light! In fact, they're even lighter than the plastic bottles we were using! We used glass bottles with our first son, but he has such a hard time learning to hold the bottle himself because of the weight; then, when the first glass bottle was dropped and shattered, we decided then and there no more glass bottles (despite how much we despise the thought of breast milk sitting in a plastic bottle). When it came time for baby #2, we easily decided against glass bottles…UNTIL these came along!!! We are so pleased to have the glass inner liner against the milk, but also have the plastic outer layer for protection against drops. We accidentally dropped tested a Chicco Hybrid Bottle in the Denver airport, and no glass shattering! Our son also had had a tongue tie release and has some other tongue dysfunction, but he was able to take these bottles without difficulty and with no more gas than normal. These are so easy to clean with only 3 parts and a wider neck. The entire gift set is amazing to have everything you need for bottle feeding your baby including pacifiers and a convenient carry case that's perfect for the diaper bag! We could not be more pleased with these bottles and the entire gift set, and we highly recommend them to everyone. We are thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing us to test these bottles and gift set in exchange for our honest review. Pros: -only glass is touching milk -super lightweight even compared to other all-plastic bottles -plastic, protective outer layer (that's been drop tested!) -easy to clean with only 3 parts and wider neck -our son (despite all of his oral dysfunction) was able to take these bottles without a problem -no increase in gas or reflex symptoms after changing to these bottles -included 2 pacifiers and carry case perfect for the diaper bag -everything you need to be able to bottle feed your little one including 3 small (5oz) bottles, 3 large (9oz) bottles, 6 level 1 nipples, 2 level 2 nipples Cons: -I truly have no cons!
