We love the spout trainer cup! It's so easy for my daughter to use, has an easy grip, and super easy to clean (my personal favorite). I also love that the plastic piece inside is interchangeable with some of my other Chicco cups. This makes it much easier to locate rather than fidget between multiple plastic parts.
We bought these trainer sippy cups for our little guy when he turned 6 months. He is now 14 months and still uses them every day! They have held up after many washes and even better ,it is dishwasher safe. We've tried offering him other cups but he just wont drink from anything else. I love the cute little designs and the little handle that makes it easy for little hands to pick up. We will continue to stick to this brand since he is loving it. I will definitely be purchasing more of these!
The Chicco Semi-Soft Trainer Cup is a great transitional cup. The size of the cup is easy for small hands and the contours allow for a good grip. The spout at the top is different than any other cup I've used with my kids. The spout is flatter than most other cups and has only a single hole at the top. The cup does not leak as there is a piece inside to help control the flow. My 18 month old was able to drink out of this cup with ease but the flow was controlled enough that she did not choke or dribble water. Cleaning this cup is a breeze as it is just the cup, lid and one small piece inside. I am able to clean it well with my existing bottle brush. I would recommend this cup as a great sippy cup for tiny hands and babies just learning to drink from a cup. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting us try it.
Overall, I think this is a great cup! My son generally prefers a hard spout so he was hesitant to use this cup at first because of the semi-soft spout, but after a few minutes he had the hang of it and was drinking from it without any problems. This cup is easy to clean, leakproof (you'd better believe my son put it to the test since he likes to throw his cups!), and versatile with its removable handles. I also like that it comes with a lid so I can throw it in my bag without worrying about it leaking. In fact, this was the cup we took to several family gatherings over the holidays because it's so convenient and I know it's not going to make a mess! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me the Chicco Semi-Soft Trainer Cup to try and review!
I received this trainer cup as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My 15-month-old son is pretty particular about which cups he'll use, and he seemed to like this one right away. It's also got a cute chameleon design on it, which I love. The handles are great because he's always trying to use only one hand, which doesn't work without handles, so this cup is easy for him to grab and carry around. The liquid doesn't come out so fast that he ever chokes, but he is able to get it everywhere when he bangs the cup upside down on the table or his high chair tray, which I don't love. My son isn't a chewer, so while the bite-resistance is a great feature, it's not something I look for, personally. All-in-all it's a great cup: very cute, easy to disassemble for washing, and easy for my son to use. My only con is that he can spray milk everywhere when he bangs it on the table, while some of the other sippy cups we have don't do that. We mainly use this one for water for that reason.
