My son loves his monkey. He just thinks its a stuffed toy he gets to take with him when we go out. It is convenient to have around. I keep it in my car so when we go somewhere it will be there when I need it.
I have to re-attach the tether from the bottom of the harness to the neck of the monkey so the kid wont fall forward. Bad design. it should have been at the top to allow us to pull the kid above their waist not on their butt.
I bought this for my 20 month old son to use on our vacation and it is perfect. I was a bit concerned that it would be too restrictive for him but it was a perfect fit. He thinks it is a cool toy and it sparks his sense of adventure. In fact, he doesn't ever want to take it off.
Best safety tool for any super busy toddler out in public with mommy while she is doing business !! Ha ! now I can concentrate on what I am about.
My toddler is already in love with it. I can have sufficient control on him with which direction he should be going....
