Cigarette Lighter Adapter

Works well, just as advertised.

Works great for my Indian Roadmaster. Just make sure your car cigarette lighter circuit is live with the ignition off.

I purchased this cigarette adapter to power my Fimco atv mounted sprayer. My cigarrette outlet is on the headlight pod so its easily within reach to unplug when I want to kill the power. I first bought the fimco cigarette adapter with switch, which failed on the first use. I the started to see if battery tender had any offerings that would work since they use the same quick connect plug-in.

This is made to connect to a charger, and the positive wire on this is the covered one at the plug. Most chargers also have the "hot" wire covered, so this would have to be rewired. Also, be aware that if you want to charge a vehicle, your outlet must be hot all the time, not just when the switch is on or on accessory. Many vehicles are hot only when the ignition is on, or on accessory. You could add a "always" hot outlet to use this with if needed. The ones I received have a straight wire, about a foot long, instead of the coiled as shown. This is a plus, as the coiled will tend to pull the plug out of the outlet.
