Dossier Citrus Tea (inspired by Le Labo's Thé Noir 29) writing is very linear, at the opposite of traditional top/middle/base fragrances. It offers a unique and lasting freshness, made of bergamot, tea leaf, bay leaf, fig and clear jasmine. Denser notes of wood, incense and hay infuse through this clarity, without ever weighting down the fragrance. Peerless, utterly original yet still incredibly easy to wear, Citrus Tea (our impression of Le Labo's Thé Noir 29) carries a permanent oscillation between lightness and shadow, freshness and depth. New.

Dossier Citrus Tea Eau De Parfum, Inspired By Le Labo Fragrances' Thé Noir 29, Unisex Fragrance, 1.7 oz Vegan & Cruelty Free Top Notes (The first notes you smell): Bergamot, Fig, Black Tea Middle Notes (The heart of the perfume): Bay Leaf, Tobacco, Jasmine, Vetiver Base Notes (The notes that linger all day): Cedarwood, Musk, Hay, Peach, Incense Colorant & UV Filter Free Paraben & Phthalate-Free New

This perfume does not smell citrusy or like tea. I've never smelled the original, so nothing to compare to, but the fragrance just isn't for me. I reached out about a refund/exchange a while back (like a week ago), but haven't received anything back about it.

Tried to reach out to support for assistance twice and haven't recieved any meaningful response yet. Would love to get my products to give a review of them but at this rate I've paid 100 bucks for no goods. I'd love to update this review once someone gets back it's me about my missing products

Personally, I like this better than Le Labo's Thé Noir. In my opinion, the Le Labo scents are just pretty heavy, and they also had a strong alcohol after smell, before they dried down fully. Obviously they last awhile in terms of siliage. I was so excited to finally try them, in store. . . But I was overall not a fan. I don't know. . . I expected more from Le Labo at the price point. I think, because this Citrus Tea isn't exactly like Thé Noir, it's not as strong, but this works to its advantage. It's a bit lighter, maybe more citrus/floral, and overall it makes it more wearable. I will say, it doesn't have the same siliage as LeLabo, and I end up spraying it multiple times a day, but that also could be because it's a good scent for me and I can't smell it on myself because it blends so well with my natural scent (this happens with my other favorite perfumes too - others can smell is as me, I just can't smell it). I can smell it on my clothes after days, however. Overall, it's s better impression, I think, than Thé Noir.

I was really excited to find this perfume, because I LOVE Noir 29, and this one ended up being close enough. I wish it was slightly sweeter like the Noir though. Citrus Tea has a strong smokey/tobacco/spicy smell to it that I don't quite care for, but I won't complain since it was $200 cheaper lol. It'll be fine, just need to get used to it or maybe find something to layer with with.

I've never smelled Thé Noir from Le Labo, so I can't comment on its similarity to the original. However, I can say this is a soothing, beautiful, herbaceous scent that keeps me sniffing myself all day. I layer it with the Dossier Original Sage and Black Tea Renew, which is just as delicious but sweeter and lighter than this one, which has a bit of a punch to it. They balance out to make a gorgeous, fresh, yet sultry scent I haven't smelled anywhere else before. I'm usually a gourmand girl and have a hard time finding things I really love when I go out of my comfort zone, so this was a very pleasant surprise.
