Clairol Natural Instincts Shine Happy Hair Treatment

First of all, my color isn't listed so I just picked the closest color. I used 23R (medium auburn). Not sure what to say about this product other than it didn't work for me at all. I definitely got the correct color in order to add a little red to my hair. I followed the directions to a T. After everything was said & done, there wasn't an ounce of color in my hair. I love changing my hair color but a woman who has gone natural, I wanted something that easy on my hair. The Natural Instincts was prefect for my hair and so many color selections it was hard to pick on. The application of the product was easy and the smell was not bad. This hair dye came out pretty well and it's nice that's it's ammonia free since it is less damaging for the hair. My hair is a little damaged from previous hair dying, but this didn't leave my hair feeling noticeably dryer or anything. Didn't seem like the color lasted very long though. It faded to a lighter shade than dyed really fast (less than one week). Overall, this was a nice product and I would use it again just because it didnt seem to damage my hair at all. Also, it seems there are more colors to choose from in the Natural Instincts selection than the regular Clairol hair dyes which was nice. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have to say this color covered my stubborn grays and gave great highlights. I didnt have to use 2 boxes , and the color is still going even after a few weeks. I had to cover some tough old greenish blue that was on the ends of my hair. I was surprised when this did it with ease! I picked a color with a bit of a red tone, knowing that you need red to cover green. It was definitely more red than I expected but I like the color on me, so it worked out!
