Clairol Nice 'N Easy Permanent Color 8G/104 Natural Medium Golden Blonde, 1.0 KIT

Perhaps it was due to my growing age, or even stress, but I was experiencing what felt like a sudden growth spurt of white and grey hairs throughout my head. I was initially going to purchase Root Touch up by Clairol so that I could just deal with my roots, but I decided to get the Nice’n Easy permanent hair color. I think that I was pretending that I actually had more hair that I actually did in convincing myself that this was what I needed. I ended up using only a third of the bottle since I wanted to just target my roots. Now, whenever I used boxed hair dye, I always made sure to start with oily hair because of the subsequent drying effects of hair dye, which effectively worked like a de-greasing shampoo. I followed the instructions that came with the bottle and put the gloves on to mix the two bottles together into the applicator bottle. I forgot that the the application was going to be a bit more runny than what a root touch up would be like. I knew that this was an all over hair color but I decided to use this hair color for my roots only. So, I applied the color with the applicator about an inch or two from my roots for about 25 minutes and showered the color off my hair. The result of a full coverage of my grey hair. Not so clever on my part was the assumption that the natural dark brown would completely blend in perfectly with the rest of my hair. This was really my own blunder. I could tell that my roots were a tad lighter than other naturally darker parts of my hair. This product did its job but I think that with my next attempt to cover my greys, I may need to do better color matching. Better yet, I may just get root touch up to get a more thicker consistency. Clairol knew what it was doing when it called its product nice and easy. Easy to use with minimal odor. Coverage is great with vibrant color all around. Grays don't stand a chance either. I really enjoyed the included colorseal conditioner. It left my hair smooth and the large size lasted multiple uses along with the color. Great buy! Im so excited to have used the clairol golden beach blonde, I used it for a fast and easy touch up on my roots. It worked really well. And it didn't leave my hair dry. My hair felt very smooth and soft afterwards. Plus the color is great. And there isn't any strong chemical odor when using this product. A must buy and is amazing. This is the last day of the Clairol campaign. I dyed my hair around 6 weeks ago. The dye didn't smell to bad. I left it on for the full amount for gray hair and it's been coming back for about 2 and a half weeks. The dye only lasted about 3 and a half weeks on my gray hair and it is supposed to last 6 weeks. When the color first came out it had a red tint to it for some reason. After about a week and a half it came out. I like the fact that they give you extra conditioner to use later. I like the Clairol brand so I may try again and see what happens and see if it will last on my gray hair longer then what it did. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Product was super easy use fantastic coverage and is still covering my gray collar is still bright and shining.
