Coastal Pet Bergan Comfort Carrier - Cat and Dog Carrier - Black and Grey, 16" x 8" x 11"

I bought the large pink bag for my 6 lb chi. It was made with fine attention to detail. My older model bergan bag was less comfortable for my dog, as it had pokey mesh appearing through fine material. This does not seem like a cat product. Cats are too pokey for the delicate materials. My dog has round nails and can't damage the product luckily

I bought this bag because it had the ability to be attached to the car seatbelt. Not easy to find a pet carrier with this feature. It worked well for a couple of days but then I realized that the inside lining was already wearing out. The material used to line the bag on the inside is made of a very fine nylon which does not hold up to an animal?s claws or teeth. And it?s only been a week since we?ve own and used it. Very disappointing as it is not cheap.

Back in September I was given this older when a teal-colored one for my ferret, Gus. Aside from one of the zippers occasionally slipping a tooth from being worn, I have to say that I am truly amazed as I had to take public transit and take Gus along with me , and your little zipper side to reach in was a lifesaver. He wanted to feel my touch and I was able to calm him without risking him trying to get out. I love the ventilation in the micro mesh screen. I use this for traveling and his training. The only other bag I have is a discrete carrier purse for when I go into stores. And at home everytime I go outside in the yard I take Gus with me in this carrier. he even sleeps in it sometimes when I have it on the bed will choose to go in it to sleep he absolutely loves this thing. You really should hit up the ferret community with these bags, this is just wonderful. And also this is all obviously going to be in my memories because I already have so many pictures of my Little Gus poking his head out of his carrier, and I would love to send you some. I really really really appreciate how much thought was put into it. And one more thing the zippers they have a little fastener so they can't open up the zipper which is what these little guys can do so easily. But no not in this! I bought my Bergan carrier 8 years ago and it's still in great shape. I love that it has great airflow and visibility. Perfect for under the plane seat for travel. I can for my two Yorkies in one for local travel and my dogs use it as a safe cozy space in the house, so I never put it away. I bring it to the front door, they jump right in. I also love that it can be secured into the back seat belts. This was a big reason along with airflow for purchasing. Most highly recommend

I?ve had this carrier for 10 years. The large allows me to carry both my Yorkies together. Before I got my second wee guy I took my older one on a flight and it fit perfectly under the seat in front of me. I use it all the time and I leave it open all the time because they love napping in it.
