Great radio and antenna for the price! Works great for listening and talking to truckers going down the highway! Also use it to talk to my wife when we are in separate cars as she has a cb in her car as well! I also work for Walmart! Dont have any pictures of it in my truck yet!
Antenna was easy to tune and works great. Had an issue with the first one and Cobra sent out another no questions asked. Great customer service which is rare today. Thank you.
This is an excellent Antenna and I was able to trim it down to achieve a very low SWR of less than 1. Tested on channels 1, 20 and 40. Perfect for my mobile set up and quick to remove if needed.
Just unpacked it. Seems to be very high quality, coil is sturdy metal not cheapo plastic garbage. So far I'm tuning it with two elements, one for 27 and the other 10m so I can switch out. The magnet mount is sturdy and has a great under cushion. Have not yet tested range or other specifics, recieve on 10m was very good. Low noise, clear signals.
Unable to review. Cobra sent it w/50 WX ST. FEDEX delivered HH but no antenna. Dealing with nice Customer Support @ Cedar Electronics, I ad to wait 8 days for FEDEX status to change from “Operationally Delayed No Scheduled Delivery Date”. I didn't. Now waiting 8 days for Cedar tracer to work. If no antenna then, Cedar will send a replacement Antenna.
