I was impressed with the information on the packaging including how to signal for help in case of an emergency. The whistle works great, sound is loud and clear. I'm now carrying it in my purse.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received the Coghlan's Safety Whistle for free for my honest opinion. It is a nice bright orange to easily spot when in hiking bag. Great to use on trail if we came into any difficulties. It is nice and loud. I like the breakaway snap closure feature incase of an emergency. We like to hike in all kinds of weather so it is nice that it shouldn't freeze or clog and that it works when wet.

I like the fact that it has Morse code on the back of the packaging. This is perfect for any camping trip or long hikes in an unknown forest.
