Coleman Roadtrip LX 2-Burner Black Propane Gas Grill with PerfectFlow™

We bought this to replace our last RoadTrip Grill which finally rusted out after 15 years. I really like how the water pan evens out the heat. The new grill has aluminum grill plates which should last longer than the steel ones from the previous grill. One downside, are the legs can be finicky to extend/contract, but it is sturdy once set up.

Easy to assemble, no choice but to use the small propane tank, as the adapter from Coleman was faulty. At second use the grill grate sunk, caved in, or melted choose the action. On looking at the warranty I would have to contact Coleman and send the faulty grate to them, at my cost for inspection and possible replacement, I bought another as it's cheaper. Wish me luck!!

I do like this grill however, why would you ever swap out a griddle for a grill plate? I thought the griddle came extra now I have to buy another grill plate to have a full grill. I did go back and read the description but this should be made A LOT clearer - I am not impressed I have to make an additional purchase to have a full grill.

This is the second one of these grills that I have purchased. The first one lasted me for 7 years. The water tray is great. It helps the food stay moist instead of drying out. The table and grill are very sturdy. Mine sits on the back porch and has taken several tumbles from the wind. You can mix and match the griddle, the stove top and the grill grate to cook what ever is needed. Over all this is a great grill.

Nice grill, but it would be better with a few accessories included, like a second grill surface to replace the griddle surface, so the entire grill could be a GRILL. It would also be nice if it came with an adapter hose, to allow it to be used with a standard 20-lb LP gas bottle, and/or a quick-disconnect adapter for use with an RV's gas supply.
