Colgate Baby Toothbrush and Teether, Bpa Free, 2 Count

At first I was skeptical about this product - Colgate Baby Toothbrush and Teether, BPA Free - based on the price seemed abit high & finding a good fit for a teething product can be difficult as a parent with picky infants. But I decided to give this a try. Upon seeing the package, and at the moment my infant is teething his back molars & learning to brush his teeth, I thought it might be the perfect combination. Boy, was I impressed with it! I love that it is completely made of BPA free, 100% food grade silicone so my son can bite on any part of it; it has handles to make it easy to hold & with the slim design hes able to reach those hard to reach back teeth thats causing him trouble, plus he can brush his teeth at the same time! When you think of it as getting two products in one, then the price isn't that bad, especially when its a product that works! Seeing your child actually go straight for it & use it when they are in pain is brilliant! The bristles are silicone soft as well & just the right size to fit around his teeth to clean. The color is a bright yellow so if he brings it to another area of the house & it gets lost among toys, its easy to spot. Its very easy to clean. Its got a very cute butterfly design with smiling face. If I were to suggest Colgate improve on something, it would be to add maybe lime green for boys, maybe more animal/insect option designs for boys. The package says 0-12 months but my son is 18 months & loves it. I think it still is perfect for any age as long as your baby is teething & learning to brush their teeth. The Colgate Baby Toothbrush is absolutely amazing. The fact that the Toothbrush can also be used as a teether is a great 2 in 1 every parent should have. Makes it handy when they are teething and also need to brush their teeth. My son cries a lot because of his teething but as soon as I hand him the Colgate Baby Toothbrush he starts brushing his teeth then chews on the butterfly wings. The butterfly wings are perfect for his little hands to hold onto while brushing and teething. Such an awesome products. I am definitely going to recommend this to every parent with small children. This product was not found in the baby section, but in the adult toothbrush section of Walmart. Nice squishy silicone that can be pulled and gnawed on. It's nice to have a double use - toothbrush and teething toy. The butterfly wings are a nice shape for fingers that don't seem to pinch the skin and it doubles as a cute toy which I think might be carried around constantly as a favourite. The small bristles seem to be a fun sensation on the gums and in the mouth. Seems like it would be a good way to slowly transition into using a real toothbrush. I received for testing purposes. I am so glad I did as it's perfect timing. My four month old son is teething badly. As soon as I opened package, he grabbed easily from me and inserted into his mouth. He absolutely loves it. Pros: Easy to hold Soft material for gums Bright color to see Shape works with pacifier clip in carseat Great price point. Cons: He cries when its missing or I take away.

My baby is just starting to like to put things in his mouth and teethe and bite on toys. I was really surprised at how soft this toothbrush was, when it was in the package I thought it would be hard plastic but the bristles are really soft as well as the whole teether. It's made of food grade silicone so it's safe to put in the dishwasher. It was the right size for him to hold onto and he also liked biting the areas that were not the toothbrush part as well.
