Colgate Optic White Wisp Mini Toothbrush, Coolmint - 24 Count

These convenient little toothbrushes are great for a quick brushing anytime of day or night. I love them for travel, after lunch, and before meetings. The toothpick end is great for quick cleaning between teeth and I love the minty fresh feeling that does not require water or a sink.

I have found these little mini-brushes very handy in my purse. I do, however, wish they were packaged differently. The provided resealable bag is a little large for a smaller purse so a larger bag with inidividually wrapped brushes would be nice. Then I could drop a few in my purse pocket to be ready as needed. I've tried some other products which were for on-the-go teeth cleaning. This one probably works the best. There's a curved pick on one end to get out troublesome bits between the teeth. The little brush has a dot of brushing solution in the center. I find that it takes a moment of brushing for the saliva to sufficiently connect with the solution dot before you feel the effectiveness of the product. It does leave a nice refreshing feeling in your mouth. Sort of a cross between toothpaste and mouth wash. I don't think this product is to take the place of a good brushing at a sink, BUT in a pinch (like coffee breath can sometimes create) when you're going to meet with someone and don't want to "share" coffee or onions, etc. It'll do in that pinch!

I was skeptical about this little toothbrush. It did leave my mouth feeling and looking clean, like I had brushed regularly at home. My breath was fresh, and my teeth look whiter. I thought it was going to upset my stomach, but it didn't and I didn't use water at all. And it is a great tool to have when you are out and about shopping or at someone else's place for dinner and like to brush your teeth after you're finished.

With only 24 wisps to use in the allotted time to make a review I was unable to determine if there was any whitening effect. Since I’m not always at home to brush my teeth after each meal, the wisps are the perfect convenience to enable me to clean my mouth. The use of the wisps leaves my mouth feeling refreshed with just the right amount of mint flavor. I find myself using them quite often because they are inconspicuously small and easy to use. I can just go the restroom, and after washing my hands, give a quick brushing. I even use them in privacy of my vehicle after grabbing a bite to eat at a drive through restaurant. The size of the brush is just right to reach behind and between teeth (gaps due to age separation and tooth removal), but could be a little stronger. I especially like the toothpick part. Previously I used a small metal dental pick and much prefer the plastic, so as to not puncture my gums. My aunt has diminished mobility and complained about having to go to the restroom to brush her teeth after snacking on something sweet – leaving a film on her dentures. Having a wisp nearby alleviates that trip and freshens her mouth to boot! During a recent gathering (with friends at a backyard BBQ for Independence Day), when everyone was finished eating and looking for toothpicks, I offered them wisps. They also commented on the convenience of having a plastic pick over a wooden one, and loved the way the brush revitalized their mouths. Even though the wisps are convenient to use, carrying a full bag of 24 is not. If they were individually wrapped, they would be handier to carry (in a wallet or purse) and share (recipient wouldn’t hesitate if knows its sanitary).

I chose the Colgate Wisp Optic White brushes for my daughter to try out with her new Invisilign braces. She and I are both in love with this product! She carries them in her backpack to use after lunch at school. They work great! Each brush has a small ball, that when broken, not only refreshes the mouth, but whitens also. The only concern I have with these brushes is the time it takes for the cool mint ball to break up, or dissolve. Overall, great product!
