I bought this music Box as a Christmas gift for my Sister. She is the sewer. She liked the detail of it. When plying it the needle goes up and down, the foot pedals move, To turn it on pull the drawer out a bit the music plays. a piece of material ready to be sewn, even a pair of scissors lays on top. We both loved it.

I bought this gift as a present for my daughter--who loves to sew. however, she never used a treadle sewing machine like I did growing up. I am 86 years old and I learned on an old Singer Treadle machine. I loved it. Your foot speed seemed so in "tune" with your body and it was so fun. At that time clothing was offered in the public school where I attended and in my 7th grade I took it. What a great time it was for learning basic skills of homemaking. I am going to order one for myself.

Usually I like to find something nice to say about a product but this one was disappointing. It is a super cheap looking plastic and the musical part of it was off key. I'm just really glad I decided to look at it before I gave it as a gift. I would have felt bad if I had given it as a gift with how poor quality it was.

I love it because it reminds me of the sewing machine my mother had, I learned to see on that machine.

not happy with this for it was made of plastic I thought it was wood but now I know I need to read better
