My husband and I are landlords, so saving money is big! This paint is just excellent. It covers well with one coat and dries quickly. The price is better than Home Depot and the quality is like more expensive paint.

Bought a 5-gallon pail of Interior Latex Semi-Gloss in Country White for a house I am staying in for 1 year. Being temporary housing I chose to use a budget paint. I was repainting over a very light taupe and used my top of the line Purdy rollers and brushes. This was such as nightmare that I stopped after the first gallon and tossed the remainder in the garbage. It is runny and thin. It drips and runs everywhere and brush marks do not flow out. You can forget about one coat coverage, it will never happen. Two coats gives a good basis for the required third coat. Expect the second and third coat to blister (as others here have stated) until your walls look like they have the measles. There is absolutely no advantage to buying this, even at its low price. I ultimately ended up re-scraping, patching and sanding all the blisters and recoating with Sherwin Williams Promar 200.

I have used Color Place for the last 20 years because of the high quality of the paint and the low price. In the last two years I have noticed the quality has diminished and the price has increased dramatically. After spending hours and three coats of paint on three walls, I noticed the finish was not even. The walls I painted had two coats of primer already. I complained at the store and I was told that Sherwin Williams does not make Color Place anymore. It's now made by Glidden. So that's the reason for the change in quality. I will never buy Color Place again and I do not recommend anyone to use this inferior quality paint.
