Kids seem to love it. Marbles are slow or do not all release at same pace....the hippos don't seem to work smoothly....most times the push down levers work well but sometimes they seem to catch so then the mouths are slower to open to catch the marbles. Its too bad that after assembly you cannot just put the whole game back in the box. You would have to dis-assemble again.

This game is great! My kids love it and it brings me back to my childhood. This version is quick and easy to setup and packs away the same. Get this for your kids!

I bought this a month ago and we are still enjoying playing with it :) my 2,5 son goes by himself and ask to play:)

It's a fun game. Only problem is the awkward assembly and storage of the actual hippos. The balls are stored nicely and creatively underneath the board. Children need help to set it up and put it away the hippos. Unless you get a new box for the game. 

The quality of this product has degraded significantly since I played it as a child. All parts are plastic, even the marbles. The mechanical parts that allow the hippos heads to move are also cheap plastic, and get stuck regularly. This is now such a poor build quality that using it is so frustrating my 3 year old notices does not want to use it. This product looks great, but is really unusable as intended.
