Contours - Cozy Dreams Gliding Bassinet

Loved the way the bassinet was set up....but my daughter hates it. The glider is too loud at night and the music is loud as well. It was a waste of money because my daugther will not sleep in it.

While this bassinet has served its purpose, I would not recommend it to a friend. The auto-gliding motor is very noisy, especially when the batteries are fresh. The bassinet itself is also noisy - the plastic moving pieces creak and squeak terribly. Add the motor noises to the creaking and squeaking and it ends up being quite annoying. Additionally, the bassinet is on the small side (or perhaps my baby is on the large size) because at 3 weeks old, by child is nearly too long. There is only about 2 inches of room over her head and 2 inches at her feet. On the plus side, the racket the thing makes puts the baby to sleep...keeps me up, but puts her to sleep. At least one of us is sleeping...

I decided to get this because with my last baby, my husband and I were up rocking the bassinet. I read online that the bassinet was a bit noisy, so I was prepared for it. If you are looking for a bassinet that rocks, this does the job. It it relatively loud, but you get used to it.

We bought this Bassinet for our baby who isn't quite here yet in order to have it set up and get our cats accustomed to it. We have 4 cats and i was afraid that they would want to jump right in. We even filled the bassinet with foil to discourage this. So far they haven't even tried! So its just sitting there waiting for our little guy to get here. The rocking motion is alittle on the noisy side, but i'll be able to comment more about that once baby is here using it. over all its very sturdy and didn't take my husband too long to put it together. Its a pretty off white color and fits nicely in our very tight space. Can't wait to see if the baby likes it!

I bought this for our Granddaugher. Overall the bassinet is good. My Granddaughter loves the rocking motion. My only concern is the basket under the bassinet. It isn't very stable and has a problem with spilling everything out of it when you move the bassinet. Otherwise it is a great asset to my Granddaughter.
