[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sun protection item in exchange for my honest opinion, and it does definitely works, but I have some things I require from it before I say I 100% support the item. First, I know the pictures look silly, but I am trying to buy a new pergola, so I didn't want to put this on the current one that I have had for 12 years. So, in order to still use the product but also be comfortable, I used a double folding chair with an umbrella. It was a great temporary usage of this item that allowed me to relax in the sun but also use it. I included a photo of the weather for today which is 93 degrees in Texas and I was outside at about 5:43pm to 6:46pm because I wanted to give this an hour of usage before judging on multiple days and I will say that I did notice a big enough difference that I didn't feel like a baked potato but I think it worked much much better when I folded the fabric in half and used it that way instead. Again it was 93 degrees on multiple occasions, so I felt this sweatiness that I did not enjoy from the weather but when under this fabric I appreciated the reprieve from the extreme levels of heat especially when I turned it on the "right" side of things. It was also very easy to open and unroll, so that was great if you were using the product and wanted something easy to set up and use. I will say that as I mentioned earlier, doubling things up worked much better, so I don't know if the company could make a thicker fabric specifically for hotter locations or beneath the Mason dixon line. It feels like a thick wicker like fabric which set my mind at ease when unrolling it and using it because i knew it would at least protect me from the sun better than something flimsy made but again just make it slightly thicker for hotter days. All in all, I would suggest this for lukewarm or slightly hot days, but if you are dealing with a scorcher, I would suggest doubling the fabric up in order to avoid the heat. It feels thick or wicker like so I felt confident that it would at least try to protect me from the heat but I will say I noticed that it works much better on one side versus the other and again I felt safer or more protected when I doubled it up. I'd say buy this if you want to use your backyard more because it did reduce the harsher sun rays when I sat outside and allowed me to relax more than if I just sat outside with no protection. 4/5 Nice product, and I would suggest

This can be mounted to various materials such as metal or wood to give your home both more shade and privacy from others. We are going to mount it on our chain link fence to screen it off from others. We may also use some on our dog's kennel to give her a breathable shading cover to replace her old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this on to my back porch and within one day I could feel the difference in my house. My house was noticeably cooler. This took off at least a few degrees! I love it SO much. It was easy to cut to shape, easy to install with a hammer stapler. Has stayed up great since installation, and looks decent too given that it wasn't professionally installed. It really works!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this shade fabric. My dad created this roller thing that hangs from the glass roof above my patio. Whenever we want shade from the sunlight shining into the patio, we twist this handle that will roll the fabric down. It seemed pretty easy for my dad to make it. The fabric is very durable. I like that it is 100% recyclable. It was raining off and on today, so I had to take a picture of the fabric on the roller through the tinted windows inside my house. That's why the fabric looks darker.

The screen came as cut to size and is great for DIYer but it's basically just that. No fasteners or frames. They need to be purchased separately. Not ideal for those who just want to set it up without looking to buy other necessary parts. Durable screen and breathable. Color is neutral and can go with many designs. Overall good product.
