Corelle Square Simple Lines, Dinnerware Set, 16-Piece, Set for 4

Always wanted a Corelle dinner set but couldnt find one affordable. Finally, got this set for just 9.49! I thought set might not be complete or have some damage. But everything is intact and very, very nice! Made in the USA except for the cups. Still, what a steal!

I bought this dinnerware set as a bridal shower gift from the Walmart Registry. I love Corelle Dinnerware for its durability and great price. I bought a similar set for my son and daughter-in-law when they started college over 15 years ago and it still looks like new after all this time and two grandkids abuse later. I also loved being able to order online and have the item shipped to store for pickup. Quickest and easiest way to get the right gift!

I have used Corelle dishes forever. My previous set was about 30 years old and I just wanted to update the style. I will say the quality and craftsmanship is not in any way as good as my old dishes, but I knew this when I ordered. Plates are not 'true', some a little warped. Lines are not done that well either...some areas lighter than others and 'breaks' in the lines as well. For every day use, they are just fine. Lighter than stoneware, which is a big plus. I would recommend these dishes if you don't expect perfection. If you want perfection, you will be very disappointed.

I wanted these dishes after giving away my huge st of Johnson Brothers Stonewear. These are so lightweight yet strong. Couldn't decide whether I wanted square or round or even what design I wanted. I think I made the perfect decision. They are beautiful!
