We bought this seat for my daughter when she turned a year old and was able to turn forward facing. A year later, it's still an awesome seat! She LOVES this seat! It is a breeze to install and apparently very comfortable for her. When my son is ready for a convertible carseat, we will be purchasing another one for him.

This is Consumer Reports' #3 pick for "convertible" car seats. The #1 and #2 are both close in price range, but they do not convert into a seat belt booster for larger children. This one does, and that's why we chose it - long range usefulness. Very satisfied. Installing with LATCH system was a little difficult (but no more than other seats), and ease of use (WalMart.com rating category "features") is outstanding! I needed 6 stars for that. If you've ever used a seat that has to rethread the straps when your child grows taller, you'll appreciate the quick release height slider on this seat. I definitely recommend it.

This chair is definitely worth the money that we spent on it. Our little girl is not big enough to sit forward facing yet but is too big sit in the baby carrier that we brought her home from the hospital in. She loves being able to sit up and act like a big girl. I love the fact that she is comfortable and does not mind going places in it. I was not at all excited about setting it up so the wife took it to the fire station and they did it for us. The told us that this model is one of the best on the market and that they see a lot of them come through. So we would definitely recommend this one to anyone. Only wish that we had a choice of colors.

I purchased this second car seat for my son partially on faith, because some of the reviews for it were'nt good, but many were. The two review complaints that I was concerned about most were: "Too Difficult to install" and "Baby's head flops forward." I believe that it is by far the easiest seat to install, as it comes with everything in it's place - The only adjusting necessary happens when you put baby in it. And second, baby's head will only flop forward if he's not secured correctly. If the harness buckle is up towards baby's neck and the harness straps are holding his shoulders back, where it should be, baby will NOT flop forward. My son is 10 months old, 25 pounds, and absolutely LOVES this seat. Would absolutely recommend it!

I hate mine. I bought the first one when my son was 4 months old because it was the only thing at the store that rear-faced past 22 lbs., and he was 25 lbs. This was almost 5 years ago. He outgrew the harness at age 2, and was too young/immature for a booster. I had to buy him a new seat. My daughter is in the seat now, and at 2.5 years, has outgrown it, and I'm about to buy her new seats. The cover has not held up and is very worn, the straps are starting to fray, and the harness slot height is so short that only the very shortest torsoed kids will ever come close to 40 lbs in the harness. Spend your money on a seat that has a higher harness slot height and weight allowance, like the Graco Nautilus or Britax Marathon/Boulevard/Decathalon or a Sunshine Kids Radian or a Compass TruFit. I have two of these mistakes, and I hate them. The only good thing about them is that they do rear-face to 35 lbs and they are easy to install.
