Cosco - Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat, Smoke

This seat is very big and secure. She has plenty of room to move around in it and she sits up enough that she can see out the window. She loves this seat so much better than her infant carrier seat. I really like how big and safe it feels for her.

I bought many other car seats before this one and returned them all. My sons head kept fallinf forward when he would fall asleep and since we travel alot, that wasn't ok with us. After we purchased the Cosco Alpha Omega Elite, we were so happy. He head is comfortable and he fits in it so well.

My daughter loves this car seat. Everytime we tried to put her in her infant car seat she would cry and cry. Now we have no problem. Wish I would have gotten this from the start! Only one problem with this car seat is the rear facing position it is a little big and I have a mini van.

About 9 months ago, we were in a wreck with a semi truck. It pushed us sideways down the interstate and totaled our car. My daughter (a little over a year old at the time) was with us. The car seat 100% did its job! This seat is great for the value. Even though my daughter could have officially stayed in her carrier car seat longer, it was such a pain to haul around when the combination of her weight and the weight of the car seat just got too heavy. And her feet were dangling over the edge. That's when we decided to get a convertible car seat. We have used this seat in rear facing and forward facing position. It fit fine in our Honda Accord both rear and forward facing and now it fits great in our van. It is so easy to adjust the strap height and tightness (yay!). And the upholstry has held up over several washings. I highly recommend this car seat. My only complaint (and it is VERY minor), is that it is a little hard to recline the seat while it is installed. It's super easy to do when not installed in the car, however.

I love this seat. We've had it for a long time, I paid the 149.00 for it and I think it was worth every penny. Unlike my friends kids seats, this one has some weight to it and that makes me feel its more secure. I love that the base comes off and can easily be put back on. It is a pretty good size so it's a little hard for me to get it into out SUV, but not too much. My son is 2 1/2 and still has alot of room to grow. It's also easily adjusted height wise, you don't have to re-tread everything, you just pull it up pretty much, and you can easily tighten and loosen straps. I love this seat and am actually ordering it for my sister today, whose baby is only 3 months old...
