I have been using this booster seat for some time now and I love it! My little boy actuallu picked this one out and he loves it as well. Very easy set up, pretty much ready when it came out of the box other than adding cloth sleeves to the arm rest. My little boy says its comfortable and he loves that he can put his juice box in the drink holder. Would have to give this product an A++
The booster seat is fine and does its job. Ours has held up pretty well with a 4 year old, our cup holder never gets used since we don't allow drinks or food in the vehicle. If you have multi children in the back – get one with out arm rests or a high back that is skinny to allow for the kids. Get a seat protector for it to save your seats!!! Would we buy it again - for a spare vehicle that is rarely used -yes but for an every day use vehicle - no. The main problem with this is the arm rests for numerous reasons. 1.) They stick out and are rubbing the door – seriously! This may not be a problem in all models of SUV but we have a Chevy and the booster seat isn’t working with our car! 2.) Our son has a really hard time buckling his seatbelt because of the arm rests, also they get in the way of the over the shoulder belts, and make the shoulder strap sit funny on the chest of a child. 3.) It leaves LITTLE to NO room in the rear of our SUV for a 3rd person to sit. We have 3 children one with this booster, one in a car seat (16 months) and a 10 year old that is skinny like a twig. With the two car seats there is NO room for our daughter sit. She is literally cramped in there, arms to her sides. We have to remove it if an adult is going to sit back there. My 10 old told me one day that the baby car seat is better and isn’t as annoying (this is a 10 year old talking here) Another thing I didn't like is that we ended up having to spend an extra like 20.00 to get a booster seat protector. The edges of this thing are trashing my upholstery in the SUV and I've only had it (my SUV) a short 8 months now =( There is barely any padding on it so after many uses it will break down and start hurting the booty. The arm rest parts of fabric are really easy to take off (for a child) and if you aren't watching them ... they'll be lost and you'll either be using only plastic arms or having to buy a new seat for comfort. We are trading it in today for an armless version (I think the 13.00 model) and will see how that one holds up to an active family who travels. (we are going on a 23 hour drive one way so the new one will get a work out!) Good luck finding the best booster seat out there!
This car seat works well because is is narrow at the back of the base, which eases seatbelt buckling. As a grandma with arthritic hands this is a real plus since I often have two car seats to work around. It seems comfortable for my little five year old grandson and the neutral color works well with my car's gray interior.
We have two children and have owned many carseats but these by far are the best. We currently own 3 of them and are purchasing one more. So we have a set for each vehicle. The price is good, they are compact, have a cup holder that doesnt detach easily. And it doesnt have a back so it is light weight and easy to put into another persons vehicle. I would recommend this product to anyone.
We purchased two of these boosters when we moved to Missouri where our 4 and 6 year olds were required to sit in a booster by law. These boosters work well and get the job done. Our girls had been riding with just a seatbelt, however the 4-year-old has said she likes her booster because the belt fits her more comfortably, now. I wish that the arm rests could come off. We also have an infant seat in the middle ... so we have three carseats in all across the back seat of our Ford Focus. Because of the tight fit, it is difficult for the girls to buckle their seats (this would be easier if the arm rests could come off). However, it is a very inexpensive model and seems to work quite well.
