Cosco® Scenera Car Seat

I ordered and picked up in-store. Service was bare bones -- waited a while before anyone responded at the counter. The box was also half-opened (on both ends) and damaged from bumping. Regarding the seat itself ... This carseat is affordable, lightweight, and attractive, but difficult to use for various reasons. - The manual lacks sufficient tips for installing safely in rear-facing mode. - In rear-racing mode ... Due to the required incline, the bottom of the carseat may partially float above the vehicle seat cushion. - Latch hooks are hard to remove, especially if latches are embedded deeply between seat cushions. - Harness does not loosen easily, even while fully depressing the release. Tips - Research the carseat to see if it is a good fit for your vehicle and any existing carseats in the same row. - If you don't have latch ... Read the manual on-line to be sure that the carseat is compatible with your vehicle's belts. - In rear-facing mode ... push down and from behind while tightening the latch strap. Check the level indicator as you go. - Check that all straps (in front, behind and below) are straight and flat. Any twisting makes it impossible to tighten the harness and latch strap. - When removing latch hooks ... hold open, push in, twist, and pull out. - Have a certified carseat technician check for correct installation!

Horrible design. There was no possible way to install it safely in my 2006 Chevy Cobalt. The base is flimsy with a huge gap, causing the entire seat to wobble and slide all over the place in rear-facing position. This seat should never be used as a rear-facing seat. We returned it immediately and bought the Eddie Bauer XRS.

I'm the proud mother of a 2 year old very active little boy. Of course, everyone wants the best for their children. I've purchased other expensive car seats and I must say this one definitely beats the competition, not only in price but durability, and is easily installed. I suffer from chronic back pain this seat is lightweight and easy to transfer. My son loves his "new chair". I drive a 2013 Camaro, the seat fits perfectly and my son is able to sit up and enjoy the view. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a good seat at a great price!

Ordered this seat for the price mainly. My husband and I both needed one for each vehicle. Cute print and good price so we chose this one since we had to buy 2. First, shipping was quick and arrived before the expected date which was nice! My baby is only 15 lbs and she is a little over a year old and she fit just fine! Straps were able to be moved to fit her height and she likes it. It must be comfy because she falls asleep almost instantly when we get in the car! The only thing that's not really a big deal, but bugs me, is the buckle in the crotch is short and I feel like it pushes into her diaper a lot. Other than that, LOVE this seat! Would definitely recommend this to any parent who needs to buy multiple seats but don't want to pay outrageous amounts!

We have two Graco car seats which are great but very wide. We needed two cheap car seats that would fit on a plane for a trip so we bought these, sight unseen based on reviews. They are 1/3 the price of the Graco seats we got & just as good! The quality of the seat is great, it's easy to get replacement covers (a must with toddlers who feed themselves), it's easy to wash covers, and it's light & takes up less room than many other car seats!
