Cosco Scenera Convertible Car Seat Value Bundle, Renaissance and Clementine

Horrible design. There was no possible way to install it safely in my 2006 Chevy Cobalt. The base is flimsy with a huge gap, causing the entire seat to wobble and slide all over the place in rear-facing position. This seat should never be used as a rear-facing seat. We returned it immediately and bought the Eddie Bauer XRS.

We bought this Cosco Scenera for my 26 month old son to sit in on a recent flight. We have 2 really expensive seats in our cars but needed something narrow and lightweight for the plane and you can't beat $39.99. This seat is lightweight which is great for lugging through the airport and it is narrower than most car seats so it fit great in the airplane seat. We could have never kept our Son seated for take off, landing and turbulence if it weren't for this seat. FYI- FAA rules say you child should be in a carseat until they are 40lbs. It was easy to travel with. I only gave it 4 stars because when you secure the seat with the airplane seatbelt the buckle ends up being right behind your child's back with only the flimsy car seat cover between them. I hear that is a problem for a lot of car seats but when in the car it's a non-issue. If you are looking for something cheap for travel this is the seat.

My wife and I registered for the Graco Nautilus car seat for our baby shower and got it, but found what a pain it is to remove and re-install the car seat in our 2 cars. We bought the Cosco Scenera in realtree pink for our second car so we wouldn't have to move the car seats any more. THE PROS: + It is available in many color schemes. (We chose pink camouflage) + It includes a detachable cup holder. + Once properly installed, it doesn't move at all. + The cover removes easily for cleaning. + The price was very reasonable, especially for a nationally known brand. THE CONS: -Takes a LOT of space in your car. It sits permanently in our Chevy Equinox back seat because it took up too much space in our sedan. This is because of the angle it has to recline for rear-facing capabilities, and simply wouldn't fit in our 08 Kia optima. -Also, The construction of this car seat seems really light and not as durable as the Graco Nautilus.

We bought this seat Christmas of last year for my 4 month old and at 18 months we are still in love! Now looking into the high back booster because we are about to exceed the weight limit but I will for sure be putting in storage until we have another! I love these seats! they are wonderful rear and forward facing and so light weight that if you don't have one for each vehicle you can have baby in one arm and the seat in the other! I LOVE THIS SEAT!

Recieved as a gift for my 7 month old for Christmas and we both absolutely love it! No problems putting the car seat in and out, easy to follow instructions, and she's also easy to get in and out. My car is very compact and it fits snugly so I'm very happy!
