Costway - 44" TV Stand Console Wooden Storage Cabinet Shelf Media Center Television Stand - Brown

This is a great looking piece and the perfect size in the space I needed it for. The material is lightweight and sturdy, but I'd still be afraid to sit on it (not designed for that anyway). It is assembled using a cam bolt, and cam lock system with wooden dowels (they seemed like plastic to me), very similar to an Ikea design. However, I had an easier time figuring out how to assemble my bed from Ikea that did not have any written instructions. Only pictures! The first set of instructions for this entertainment center did not match its illustration and it was very hard to figure out what they wanted me to do. It took about a half hour to an hour just to get off the first page as I spent a great deal of it just scratching my head. After getting off the first page (finally!) I had no problems until almost the end where I was supposed to put in spacers in the space between 2 parts. There was no space, and I was not about to disassemble the entertainment center to find the screw holes having already worked on it almost 3 hours. So now, I have extra parts that go nowhere. This took me, when all was said and done, a total of 3 hours to assemble. There was also a flaw in craftsmanship. It is assembled. I will not be returning this to get another one. But the screw holes for the magnetic catches are not parallel with each other. One of the magnetic catches sits higher. Ironically, the door for the higher catch is actually lower. The doors were the hardest thing to attach. That being said, it still looks great and I'm keeping it.

The directions were horrible and the pictures helped. Whomever put the holes in all the boards and such, didnt line them up well. Also, the silver pieces connected to the doors which are suppose to click into the magnet pieces.....they do not work well. Other then those things, its a nice piece once together.

This is fairly easy to do, would be easier with two but I did it by myself with no major issues. It is typical particle board on most parts and will damage easily be aware when screwing things together! It's shorter and smaller than we realized and probably won't hold all of the video game systems and accessories, and would be too low to have the TV sit on I think. Very cute and a great addition to the space we wanted it for though!

This sure be easy to set up and easy to install. It took me like 1 hour to finish screw in the tiny bolt for the small door. When you get through that then you will receive a nice view for your room after you finish it. My room surely look more nicely and neat with TV stand. Tv actually got higher point than the last stand, so we laid on bed dont have to put our pillow high to watch movie. About the storage is cool too, i can put my smoking stuff behind the storage door and no body know.

When the box arrived it looked overwhelming. It was huge and inside was more pieces to put together. I read the directions several times and decided to lay out the pieces and count everything to be sure it was all there in preparation for the weekend project. Pretty soon I was gluing in the pegs and screwing in the short cam bolts and once that was done I started putting pieces together and before got home from work I had built the TV stand myself! The only help I needed was to set the middle panel and the top in place so my wife helped set them on the frame. It was fun and felt great to build it myself. The stand looks great and it is very sturdy.
