I was so exited to switch on the brand new treadmill, but got disappointed due to churning noise of running belt. The noise comes in frequent intervals. It looks like belt is hitting some of the hardware, but not sure. I called customer service and they said there is no in person technical assistance on this product, but asked to send questions on email. I sent video of noise to their email, and waiting for their response.
My elderly mother had a $3000 machine I used to use. While obviously that had more features and a longer ramp to walk/run on, this little power house has plenty of room and speed. I was literally shocked at the quality of this. Be sure it is lubricated, it comes lubricated but mine need a bit more. I ran on it no problem. Only wish it had a larger holder for an iPad or tablet...but I plan to fabricate one using the smaller one that came with it...It attached with two screws, I will cut it down to just the channel that holds the phone, then add a 10" piece of stock plastic or wood from Home Depot... Oh...30 minutes of walking goes by fast when watching YouTube shorts or TT. Very light and simple to lift and roll around on wheels, or stand up against a wall. No issues with how sturdy it was on a full run.
I still don't have my treadmill set up yet! I ordered the same treadmill before I re-ordered this one. Walmart kept the money from the first treadmill I ordered and they said that they have to hold the money l paid on the first one for 10 days before they can put the put money back in to my account. I am contacting Walmart now that it has been 10days since I cancelled the first treadmill and I want my money put back into my credit card account immediately! And someone to come out and set up my second treadmill that was delivered approximately a week ago and it is still in the box in my living room !
I purchased this treadmill because I do not have much floor space and was very pleased with the little over 5 inches wide (deep) when it is folded as shown in the pictures online. Online it shows a person using the treadmill with the arms available to hold onto. It also shows in the background a picture of the treadmill folded and in the upright position. I cannot find any instructions or comments on storing this machine in the upright position. I just unpacked the thing and had to tear up the shipping packaging to get it out. By myself I am not strong enough to lift it up and out of the packaging. I'm reading in other reviews you must use original packaging to ship it back. I started a chat and asked for them to call me, which they did, and found out I take the original packaging and treadmill back to a Walmart for a refund. All my displays seem to work, I see numbers and the speed changes when I push the button. It is frustrating that the need to lubricate is NOT mentioned in the manual. I happened to notice the sticker on the running board of the machine. I am giving it a 2 star because I bought it from false advertising, it does not store upright as shown in the pictures. Also, if you want to lower the bar and make it as flat as possible, the "phone holder" you must screw into the top of the display bar sticks out and becomes a tripping hazard or you will eventually bust it off. I am going to take the "phone holder" back off. Be sure to extend the padded feet under the treadmill, including the very back, because when you lay it flat the display bar touches the floor. That can't be good for it. Over all for the few minutes I had it on, it seems to function properly. My main purpose was to simply have something inside to walk on until I have the stamina to take longer walks outside. It appears to fit that need. Don't know about any of the other "perks" that are supposed to be there. Very, VERY, disappointed it will not store in the upright position. I may return it anyway.
