My 10yr old absolutely loves this as with my 15yr old! With the spin bead possibilities are pretty much endless. The quality of the beads as a starter kit are great. The directions are pretty easy to follow as long as you pay close attention too them and have some experience in this craft. More strings could be added so that more items initially can be made with less expense. Having said that both my daughters have made key chains necklaces, bracelets, bookmarks the list goes in. Needless to say that this bread kit is a hit and have already purchased more different types of strings.

This was so much fun to play with with my daughters (aged 4&6) they were able to easily "catch" the beads on the threading stick and make their bracelets. They really enjoy making matching bracelets and making them for their friends too. The randomness of capturing the beads is fun, each one comes out unique. We haven't tried the friendship bracelets yet as I think it'd be too complicated for them so for now we just 'spin n bead'

My girls love this bead maker. My girls range from 15,7 and 4 and they all did this together. They made matching sister bracelets and they came out super cute. It's an activity to do outside of electronics and something fun on a rainy day. You can buy more bead and accessories for it if you need.

This is a cute set. My girls love making necklaces, so I figured they would like this kit. The flower shape bowl and vibrant colors are very pretty. The bowl also doubles as storage for beads and string, which is nice. Just know that the pink lid does not clip into place well, so if turned the lid will come off and beads will go everywhere. Unfortunately, the top of the flower bowl is not easy to put on the base. I had to assist my 13-year-old daughter many times in getting the lid back on, and occasionally even I struggled to get it to line up. The bottom of the bowl has a suction cup, which is one of the best I have ever seen. Even when I put everything into a plastic bag to store, the suction cup stuck to my table through the bag. That flower is not going anywhere. However, the bead bowl did come off a few times. It slides into place on top of the flower, but if it is not spun in the right direction it will slide out from the connector and flip over. The petals have slits in them to hold string when braiding a bracelet or necklace. This, in addition to the suction cup, made braiding a bracelet super easy. My daughter had a little trouble getting the strings into the slit, but it is new so I am sure that will get easier over time. The idea of this kit is sound, the shape and colors are great, but the lid could be a little easier to attach, and the pink cover and the bead bowl could be secured better. Overall, it is fun, but just know an adult may have to help out a little.
