Cra-Z-Art New Be Inspired Deluxe Braid, Bead & Twist Hair Designer, Unisex Tween Ages 8 and up

I got this hair decoration set for One of my granddaughters for Her birthday. She loves doing all Types of styles to hers and my Hair. She can make some awesome hair Styles now.

We were excited to play with this hair braiding, beading & wrapping set, thinking that we could use this to decorate my granddaughter's long, thick & beautiful hair occasionally to add an extra decorative touch. We quickly learned it was going to be a one time only deal and we were soooo done & disappointed. Besides the fact that there is only enough wrapping ribbons for a couple times use with her long hair, the braider is actually a twister of 2 strands & does not braid, and the beader only beads a maximum of 5 or 6 beads at a time... it is cumbersome to use the braider & the wrapper and requires more time & practice fumbling with them, and also does not take into consideration that NOT EVERY HAIR IS THE SAME LENGTH, which causes the results to be less than satisfactory, some shorter hairs get pulled & hurts her, and it's too much work to achieve. The beader is the only thing that works easily & we have other beads, not included, that we can use with it. That earned the 2 stars.

This set has been a big hit at our house. I think my favorite look is the wrapping fabric like we have been to the beach lately. But beads look good too. Lots of fun options to try out and enjoy. It's a fun set to try new looks with. First day of school hair is getting an upgrade thanks to this set.

When I was young I had one of these so I was very excited to have one for my daughter! She loves to style her hair and she just turned 8 so this was a very age appropriate styler for her. There are 100 beads so she can do patterns and style her way. There are also 10 Bead stoppers which goes at the end of the beads to keep the beads in place. It also included elastic bands and the styler. This kit has everything you need to style your hair with beads! It's easy to use and does not get you hair knotted or tangled up. We have used this styler at least 5 times now and she has even picked our which beads she's going to wear for the first day of school. I helped the first few times but she got the hang of it quickly and now can do it all on her own.

I'm surprised at how well it works. I tried it on my own hair before letting my daughters use it because I was worried it would catch and snag their hair. It is actually made well and didn't get stuck in my hair. The hair wrapping is the best part. Move your hands really slow for it to wrap tightly. It's super fun and is awesome for a party or girls night!
