Crates and Pallet Half Pallet, New Wood

I ordered 5, but one was broken on arrival ... turned out I only needed 4 so it all worked out ok. I returned the broken one and got a refund with minimal fuss. I am ordering more now for another project.

The wood is good quality. We purchased as a 'step' going from garage to kitchen threshold. The boards/slats are not supported except at ends so one board broke from our weight. We are going to get a board to put underneath the slats in the middle simply hammering it in on both sides. If weight is evenly distributed you shouldn't have a problem. Good quality lumbar and construction just be aware that slats on top are not thick and could give and break under too much weight.

The 1st shipment of half pallets, the condition was well beyond my expectations so I ordered a 2nd set half pallets. Unfortunately they were nothing like the 1st set, chunks of wood missing from some of the slats. Wood shaving were still connected to wood slats; wood was very rough; numerous knot holes. The construction didn't seem as sound as the 1st set. Sadly I did not have time to send them back and complete the project on time.

These are garbage. I originally ordered 2. 1 showed up broken, so I asked for a replacement. It also showed up broken. Then I realized I actually needed 3 in total. So I ordered 1 more while I was waiting for the replacement to come in. Both of them arrived broken. What a waste of time and money. Now I have 1 pallet that is of no use to me since I can't get anymore to go with it. They charge way, way to much for these to begin with but my daughter wanted them for something I was building for her. Total waste of money

I was reluctant to make this purchase because of the mixed reviews; I regret my decision to make this purchase. The first pallet was VERY black and rotten on the bottom and another had pieces falling off and splintering pieces that would require more than just a little bit of sanding. I did not open the two remaining boxes since this was a project requiring two and I knew trying to get these replaced would be a gamble. I say this because I talked with C/S and they claimed to arrange a p/u with Fedex but the email I received from them was lacking and when I contacted C/S again the rep kept asking me the same questions and sounded as though she was new/confused/completely inept. I requested a Supervisor who was extremely pleasant (they were all very polite) and she arranged for USPS to do the p/u because after 20 min. we could not figure out what the prior reps did. She could not locate the Fedex p/u request and told me that I needed to call Fedex and cxl. since she could not locate. She did apologize for the inconvenience. I then contacted Fedex and they could not locate the p/u that the prior rep had scheduled, despite Fedex having sent me an email with a great deal of info but I was told none of the info was pertinent to a p/u request and "if someone shows up tell them you cancelled the request." This all took 2 and a half hours. I do not go to Atlantic City or Vegas; I am not a gambler, making this purchase was/is a gamble. I am very disappointed but life will somehow go on! :)
