Is there really any difference between brands of toothpaste? That was the question I wanted answered when I picked up a tube of Crest Pro-Health Whitening Power toothpaste. My previous tube of toothpaste was almost out, so I decided to try a comparable tube of Crest to see if there really is a difference. As it turns out, yes, there is, but it's fairly subtle. The flavor of this one is a more pleasant cool mint, but it breaks down in my mouth a lot quicker and doesn't stick to my toothbrush as well. I've found that I needed to switch from brushing my lowers first to doing the uppers or else I'm basically just dry brushing. And even starting with the uppers, it still sometimes quickly feels like it's all broken down and not cleaning well. I was in the personal care aisle looking to pick up a new tube of toothpaste as I was running low. I happened to see Crest Pro Health Whitening Power on the shelf and decided to give it a try as I trust the Crest brand. I was skeptical about the whitening claims at first because I had tried other brands before and didn't get the results I was hoping for. Hopefully, this review will answer the question of "What would I want to know before I get this product" for you. I enjoyed the toothpaste as it left my mouth with that fresh cleaned from the dentist feeling. I also noticed from the before pictures I had taken of my teeth before trying that my teeth did look noticeably whiter. I will definitely keep using this Crest Pro Health Whitening Power toothpaste. I can't say I've ever found a "bad" toothpaste, come on they all get your mouth clean right? I've also never purchased the same one two times in a row, because none of them have impressed me enough to remember what's in my bathroom. Well, that has changed! I only have one toothpaste in my future and that is Crest Pro Health Whitening Power Toothpaste! All I can say is wow!! I love it because it's not so strong that it burns your mouth but the flavor is great, and I have NEVER had a toothpaste make my teeth feel so incredibly smooth and clean unless it was done at the dentist office. The best thing though is that my gums aren't nearly as swollen and tender as they have been the last few weeks. Also, I love the tube itself. My husband is a nightmare on toothpaste tubes! Lost lids (ewww), toothpaste all over the tube and the counters (Arrghhh) dried toothpaste globs so you waste more toothpaste, you get the picture. So far I still have the lid, and my counters and sink are clean and I won't have to buy my own (clean) tube this month!
