Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening

The cookies were great. The packing was terrible. Whoever shipped them threw the two tins of these expensive, hard to find cookies into a box, absolutely no padding, like not even a sheet of newpaper and the tins arrived banged up with half of them broken. The product was great, the shipping was horrible.

I was displease with the arrival of my container, it was busted and the stuff was over everything. It would cost me more to return it, then to go and buy another. Take that at a lost $$.

WM was out of Crisco spray so I bought this. To be used only for making eggs in a nonstick pan. Eggs kept sticking. Called Crisco, they didn't have an answer but sent us a coupon for the spray so I am happy with the outcome. In the end what I figured out is the Copper Chef pans are concave, they are not flat on the inside bottom of the skillet. Consequently the Crisco shortening was running to the sides of the pan. The spray stays where you spray it, so a much better choice for frying eggs.

If you have anyone that is Dairy Free at your house, butter flavored Crisco is the answer to your cookie making issues (because no butter!). I love the recipe that come on the can for cookies. I like to mix it up and use peanut butter chips and milk chocolate chips in the recipe, so good!

My brother is allergic to milk so I use this instead of butter when I bake or cook him anything. Works great.
