Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (Greatest Hits) - PlayStation Portable

After playing Final Fantasy 7 many years ago, it felt good to play Crisis Core and learn how everything began. You take on the role of Zack, who's working his way through the ranks of SOLDIER under the watchful eyes of Angeal. Throughout the story, you learn more about some of the protagonists of Final Fantasy 7 including Cloud, Aerith and Sephiroth. Using a newly invented real time battle system and wielding many touching high definition cut scenes, you'd regret not picking up Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core.

Great game for RPG fans. I was going to buy this game used off ebay and found it at Wal-Mart online new for same price. For $2.00 more I had it shipped to my home. With price of gas was Well worth it. Everything went smoothly and couldn't be more happy. This is a awesome game a prequel to Final Fantasy VII, which is one of the best RPG games ever. This is a Great stand alone game, so you don't need to play any other game in series to enjoy it. For a 10 to 12 dollar game its worth giving a try if you're into RPG games.

This game is not what many people would expect. It isn't an RPG style game like the original Final Fantasy VII was. It is an action game based on the premise that Cloud is a new recruit and has to earn his license. This is set prior to FF VII for those who are familiar with the game. You run through many areas attacking monsters and gaining goods and experience to beat time requirements. It is not what I had expected out of it, knowing how X and then X-2 were, but I was still happy with it all around.

I am not usually very good at games. It takes me a pretty long time to beat Final Fantasy (FF) games. (I am about half way through this game been playing 10 hrs.) I LOVE, and thank Square Enix for finally giving me a game that is not turn-style. (Similar to Kingdom Hearts game play) Zack is a very loveable character, probably one of my favorites from the FF line. The one think I adore about FF games, and why I keep playing them, is the amazing graphics and scenes that come with them. This game is absolutly no exception to the rule. If your a big fan of VII (the one Advent Children is based off of, Main Character: Cloud) This is the prequal, and you will love this one just as much. Pros: Quality story line Quality Game play Awesome specials Graphics are to be expected from Square Loveable characters GREAT PRICE! Cons: Long load screens at times. Bosses tend to vary in difficulty, and most are around a medium. Only about 3 are Hard. No scene skip. If you don't save, or die, ect. You must sit through that 10 min scene you just saw. >.< In the end Awesome game. Perfect for any PSP owner, and perfect for a Square Enix/Final Fantasy fan!
