Crock-Pot Lunch Crock Food Warmer, Purple (SCCPLC240PRSHP)

Working weird hours, I found this to be the perfect size for meals. I do not want to eat a large meal when I get home, so I got this to assist in that endeavour. I have the smaller 20 ounce one, but found that it was not quite large enough, especially when working a 10 - 12 hour shift. I make my meals up weekly and have the left overs the rest of the week. The size allows me to vary up my meals. If I am not at my regular work site, I leave it plugged in my vehicle so that it is hot when I am ready to have my meal.

I have been using this all week and it is awesome! I've used it to heat up leftovers that was moist and hot, and I also have been making some hard-boiled eggs in them. Most importantly, there is no food smell coming out of it so I am not disrupting the office. No one even knows I have it!

I am reading a lot of reviews and hearing that the lid does not stay on, well here is a simple fix. The small black vent on the lid needs to be bigger, just take scissors and make the vent bigger. Cut a very small piece out. Pressure will be reduced and the lid will fit tight and snug all the time. No compromise to the cooking time.

This is my second warmer. I had the small 20oz version and decided after 2 years to upgrade to the big 24oz. I like the fact that this version has a switch in the front and can be lifted from the base. Previously I had to connect-disconnect every day. Not anymore. The warmer is AMAZING. I avoid the microwave as much as possible and with this Warmer I don't need to use the microwave at all. It reheats food even when is frozen. It is pipping hot when you need it and it does no dry out your food. Highly recommended to anybody. You won't be disappointed.

This lunch crock pot is perfect for warming up lunch soups and stews. It takes about 1 hour for the food to reach just the right temperature. I gave the product 4 stars because of the lid design. It is hard to lift it off when the pot is hot, without getting messy or getting burned.
