Pretty good… This is my second one, and the first one lasted quite a while. It is a little bit loud, but works well. It overheats quickly though so be careful.
This is our third Cuisinart grinder. The first 1 lasted under 1 year. The second one worked great for about 5 years. The newest grinder we bought barely grinds any coffee. It produces about half the grounds from our last grinder. The motor has a high pitch sound with little to show for it. Something is definitely wrong with this grinder. I WOULD NOT recommend getting this cuisinart grinder. Too unreliable. We will be returning ASAP
The very first Cuisinart coffee grinder I purchased lasted for 9 year and was fabulous. However, this new grinder leaves much to be desired. First off, the beans do not flow through the grinder, you have to continually shake the machine while grinding to get the beans to drop to the burr. I will look at taking out the motor from the old and replacing with the motor in the new one. The old grinder motor just died. There is something about the ne one that the beans don't flow through to the burr grinder. I use the exact same brand coffee I have always used, all Costa Rican Tarrazu Coffee, been drinking it for 15 years!
This grinder is a very nice looking grinder and doesn't take up lots of space. you can use many different setting to get your grind the way you like it. ine downside is the plastic window where the grind comes out is difficult to clean and get to on the machine part so it's a bit messy. I've figure out if you tap the plastic receptacle for the coffee before you remove it, the last of the grind falls down into the receptacle. one think I really like is most of a whole package of beans fits into the top and they you set the dial to the amount of beans you want to grind. it looks really nice sitting on the counter also! worth the price and were happy with this product .
This is my second coffee bean grinder of the exact same model. The first one was used for 12 years!!!! Grinding away EVERY day! I am a "coffee snob" and will not settle for anything other than fresh ground beans. When the thing finally bit the dust, it was a no-brainer to buy the exact same model. I had to go out and get it the same day the first one failed. I highly recommend this quality coffee bean grinder. Beans go straight from the Cuisinart bean grinder into the Cuisinart coffee maker. A match made in coffee aroma heaven! Made a great Christmas gift for my sister who is addicted to hers as well.
