CURT Basket-Style Cargo Carrier

Was exactly as advertised, however. After a little research I found out that it is a fire hazard!!! The exhaust pipe blow's directly on it. And if you carry anything flammable it potentially could catch fire!!!

The box wasn't damaged but the frame all holes didn't line up poor design or workmanship so disappointed and dont have box to return it iam disabled and really needed this for my motorized cart now I dont know what going to do

Horrible directions and customer service. The directions are not the most clear. You need to interrupt how to put together from the picture. The carrier comes with three different size bolts with lock nuts. Everyone of the three size bolts were too long to use with the lock nuts. It was supposed to come with spring washers also. There were none to be found. Called the company, their response was ship it back to us (my expense) and they would send another 3 to 4 weeks after they receive the carrier back. So I am going to pay to send it back to you for your mistake. Terrible customer service. So to make it work, I will need to now go out and pay to buy the right size bolts or nuts/lock washers. They should have sent out the proper size bolts to start with. Hopefully when I get the proper stuff, it is sturdy.

After reading all the reviews of other carriers, I went with Curt. It only took me 45 minutes to assemble, didn't need the directions it was so easy. (If you aren't mechanically inclined, DON'T buy things needing assembly!) All the parts were there, in good shape, and all the holes lined up great. Very sturdy for the money. (No way it will carry 100's of pounds, but you shouldn't on your hitch.) I painted the bolts since some said they tend to rust.
